The only problem I have with this 'online' scenario....is that (without an actual DVD distributor behind theml) any 'physical' disc releases are likely to be either DVD+RW or BD+RW format, which (however licensed by the distributor) have zero value to me (and are even easier to forge than legit DVD/BD releases)

It hurts me to say it, but I'm sort of hoping this whole '365Flix' flops big time. Without it, this film would have been released last year (but at seems as if they've spent more time and effort turning this movie into a 'online happy meal' than an actual artistic cinematic experience?)

I'm not a fan of this way of distrubuting movies. It might be great for the 'Microwave' generation (that demand everything be uploaded immediately to their portable gadgets, 5 minutes ago) But they seem to be forgetting that the demographic that buys media this way, are likely too young to be Steven Seagal fans? Call me an old fuddy-duddy, but I still like to buy stuff from stores (and all the human interaction that comes with it) and have the physical media in my hands the second I've paid for it.

I don't want (nor need) the promise of a 'Free-Biscuit', if I sign my details away on a website.................I just want to watch the movie :(

.

I think this is a great interview. It's been a long time since we heared Steven talk passionate about his new project.

I just had a nice chat with Megan Martinez. She was happy that I told them the problems and our (the fans) feelings. She said there were some technical problems. Their IT Department is almost ready to send all the 365flix info to 1200 movie websites. So marketing will begin soon....still too late in my opinion but we will see

Yes it has been strange. They gave a release date about a month or so before the release, they should have pushed it further and promoted it a bit better. Especially strange that they didn't want us to promote it too. :D

I am busy to set up an interview with Matthieu Weschler for our site......Coming soon!!
Nice one can't wait for the interview. :)

Off course this is only for USA, UK and Australian members. After all the hard work we do here it feels a bit wrong.....
I am a superfan but I can't even join the groupchat or superfan program at 365 flix. You know what I mean.....:(

Looks like Seagal was on today. Wonder what number of people they are getting logging in..?

Yes it isn't good, no idea why they have to limit it to those countries. Was the same with Lawman when it started up. They wouldn't send me a screener as i wasn't in the US, but other sites that had very limited promotion got sample copies.
