So, filming starts in a few days but still no official announcement? I thought it's a bigger production than Seagals latest movies?

There ia almost never an official announcement when a movie starts filming. It was supposed to be a bigger production indeed, but that was before Kaos and Pinkaew dropped out. Now they have a new producer: Bey Logan. So I don't know what the budget will be. But the Asian cast is already good. I hope to hear something this week.

Guys, you won't believe me, but I just got off the phone with Bey Logan! He called me, to give an update about Attrition. Its all good news!

It was great!! I was very nervous, but he was very nice and was willing to give a lot of information. (We also talked about Mike Leeder and his anger towards Bey) So great that he wants to communicate with the fans directly. Deeply respect for that. We should do the best to promote the film everywhere! If I am correct, I will get some more info today....stay tuned.

As you know I had a telephone call with Bey Logan. This is what I can tell about Attrition already:

Steven is very excited for this movie. For the first time in years he can do something that is completely in his hands. The last time was Into The Sun I guess. Attrition has an amazing Asia crew and cast. Bey told me that Kang Yu (Yp Man 3) will be the bad guy and that Steven will be the lead actor. I asked Bey about the budget of the movie and he didn't have an exact number but it will be 3 times the budget that he had for his dvt movies. So that is good news isn't it.

He also told me that Steven is aware of this website and appreciates the hard work we do for the fans. Steven told Bey to deliver that message to me! Awesome isn't it?

Bey will send me some more updates soon. But he made it clear that he doesn't come out with news until he is really shure that news is legit.

So Attrition is on people!!!

I'm really looking forward to this movie. First time in years I'm excited about a Seagal movie. I think Mathieu Weschler is a very interesting director choice. Hopefully we will see a lot of good Seagal fights without doubles.
Although I think the casting is a little bit disappointing so far. I have a feeling with the "2 known stars" they intended some pretty big names a while ago, but maybe it didn't work out.
Too bad the meeting Seagal had with Iko Uwais wasn't about "Attrition", it would've been great to see him in the movie.
Nevertheless, great to see it's finally moving forward. Hopefully they start filming soon.

I absolutely love Into The Sun. :) So if Attriction is atleast as good as Into The Sun or even better, bring it on ;) ..
