 Am comprehending Seagal won't be mopping the floor up with Tyson in this new film ? Was revved up and looking forward to Seagal's role beating up Tyson's film character in this movie . Seeming like Steven's cameo role in his movie, GutShot Straight.

Well, despite his prominent image on the poster....We've known all along that Seagal was only making a cameo appearence in this movie. I reckon they'll probably only exchange a few blows (most likely out of begrudging mutual respect) and then go their seperate ways. I don't think either of them wants to be filmed being defeated (do you?)
It was like when I heard Tyson was in IP MAN 3 (I expected a huge battle between himself and Yen) and yet it came at the halfway mark and was resolved with mutual respect.

Mind you, if the fight between Seagal & Tyson is half as good as the IP MAN 3 fight I'll be happy (but I can't see it lasting more than a few blows....otherwise the trailer would have clearly shown more of it) and from previous pictures on this thread...Seagal will be doubled in certain shots (so I wouldn't go expecting any intricate choreography)

Personally, I'm just glad to see Seagal in a well-made, professional-looking movie, with a healthy budget...before his next (inevitable) ex-special forces rogue CIA agent role :)

As far as I know Tyson and Seagal were never on the set simultaneously. So there probably haven´t got any scenes together.

Well, if you look at the trailer you can clearly see Tyson and the Seagal character are fighting each other. That they weren't on set together doesn't hinder movie 'magic' putting them together in one scene, you just don't see their faces at the same time.

Peace

I know that like in the film "Ticker" where Tom Sizem.... and Seagal also were not on the set at the same time. So Tyson´s character fights against Seagal´s. Sounds interesting. I haven´t seen the trailer yet because I have given up to watch anything with Seagal nowadays.

Well, it seems you can find it anywhere. Here is the leaked fight scene between Seagal and Tyson:

Wow: Seagal lost the fight against Tyson. I´ve never thought that Seagal´s ego would allow that to happen.

Of course, I know that Seagal and Tyson were never on the set at the same time. So they never did the fight scene.

Was not expecting that outcome?
But fair play to Seagal for actually not being his usual untouchable self this time round.....That's if any of the outcome was down to his actual say-so, or knowledge?

Given the extensive doubling (all round) in this sequence (Tyson and Seagal don't share any actual scene together, it would seem?) I wouldn't be surprised if Seagal didn't know that this fight has been edited this way.

Given his ego, I'm not sure if he'll take too kindly to it.

That must be the case. Check the interview with Titus Paar on our site. He said he met Steven just after he had finished the cameo in China Salesman. Steven didn't even know what the movie was about. He just showed up for that scene.

LOL...I think it's funny Seagal slapped Tyson in his ear....considering he bit Evander Holyfields ear some years back.
