Co-stars / supporting actors ideas

Hello

The latest movies did have nice co-stars (Danny Trejo and Ving Rhames in “Force of Execution” and Steve Austin and Michael Paré in “Maximum Conviction”). Unfortunately, “A Good Man” sounds maybe a bit disappointing in this regard.

Which actors would you like to see in one of next Seagal-movies? It should be realistic, not big stars like Mark Wahlberg who probably costs more than the movie itself. ;)

My suggestions:

Don Johnson (one of my favorite actors and Seagal-fans know him from “Machete” :))
Ray Liotta (always a good supporting actor, could be a nice bad guy too)
David Morse (very good supporting actor)
Dolph Lundgren (Keoni Waxman already worked with him and Seagal spoke positive about him)
Scott Adkins (If I look at the last Keoni Waxman interview, Waxman seems interested to work with him)

What do you think about them and what are your suggestions?

I agree this new film lacks that extra star power that Austin/Trejo/Rhames have brought

I agree with Liotta I think he would be great in a seagal film as the bad guy and liotta stars in his fair share of DTV films

Also Lundgren and Seagal I think could work

other names

Byron Mann(Like to see him again with Seagal but given more screen time like on BOTB)

Lance Henriksen(Again I would like to him him in a seagal film with alot more scenes than in PW)

Val Kilmer (Also doing the STV rounds)

Donnie Yen (I think would be great for a Seagal film but i doubt he would let Seagal win a one sided fight)

Val Kilmer is a real good option, really good actor who is doing a fare share of DVD movies- he could be an interesting bad guy. Also Dolph Lundgren/ Steven Seagal team-up would be EPIC! And it doesn't seem so far fetched at all.

Maybe we should send the idea with a Seagal/Lundgren -movie to Keoni Waxman. Of course I would like to see Seagal team up with Van Damme too, but this seems unlikely, unfortunately.

Another very interesting option would be Kazu Patrick Tang. He is a bit young compared to the other people on the list but he worked on a bunch of great action movies in Asia and Europe- movies like: Unleashed, Ong Bak 2, Bangkok Knockout, Raging Phoenix and recently Tom Yum Goong 2 and Ninja: Shadow of a Tear. I think he wouldn't miss a chance to work on an American production- especially one with Steven Seagal.

I also like Daniel Bernhard. He was a cool bad guy in Parker!
He had some decent DTV releases in the 90's. Bloodsport 2+3 and True Vengeance. Bloodsport 4 was awful though. :(
Glad to see he is making some sort of comeback.

Bernhard is actually better as a supporting actor, he impressed me more in Matrix Reloaded and Parker than in his 90's leading roles. I'm all up for him as a bad guy!
