I have to say that I am not really looking forward to this movie

I get the feeling its going to end up more like a ATD type film where seagal has maybe 20 mins of screen time

Also the main reason I watch Seagal films is the fight and action scenes and the fact that hes playing
a bad guy and a sniper say to me that we will have very few action/hand to hand scenes

I don't have a problem if there are only few fight scenes, as long as they are well made and there is other great action in the movie.
But I wouldn't accept a limited screen time, ATD and FOE are really bad in that regard.

Any infos if Seagal and Levy are on set now? It’s a bit strange that both main actors arrive that late.

Hey, at least it's filmed in the U.S. :)

I get the distinct feeling that Seagal will have minimal screen time in this one. But I wonder that if he's playing (quote) "The Bad Guy", will his character be killed at the end?

Well, that wouldn’t be much of a surprise, considering he had a limited role in every of his latest movies. The last movie with an acceptable screen time was BTRH five years ago.

Strange that the plot synopsis in the above article, has changed from the 'terrorist hunting' scenario first mentioned. I wonder which storyline it'll have?

Looks like William Levy probably isn't in the movie.

Cast according to the thefilmcatalogue.com: Steven Seagal, Craig Sheffer, Louis Mandylor, Helena Mattsson

Mattson and Sheffer in the movie, if you want to look at:

One thing I'm pretty sure will be positive about the movie - the lighting will be good, Winnick is doing a good job there. And I think the camera work will be nicely down-to-earth and not annoying.

It looks like I'm one of very few here who is looking forward to the movie (at least at the moment). Of course it's hard to imagine how the movie turns out, but that's also the interesting thing about it. There is a possibilty that there aren't many fights, but that's not bothering me, as long as there are some in the movie and they are well made and there is a lot of other great action. I don't know how they handle doubles, we have to wait and see, I hope we won't get another KS there, but I don't believe it.
I'm looking forward to it especially because of the locations - the Eastern Europe look just don't fit with a Seagal movie and I like it if there is a nice US feeling in it. US locations are the best for Seagal movies in my opinion. Also I get the feeling that the production company cares about their productions - their movie "The Night Crew" seems to look nice for it's limited budget, at least if you look at the trailer.
I don't know how the screen time for Seagal turns out - but at least the story is written about his character and how people chases him and that's why I hope there will be a decent presence from him.

My gut feeling is that this will not turn out to be that good....Funny that you mentioned KS because thats the movie thats comes into my mind when I think of COH

My main worries are the lack of fight scenes and lack of Seagal....I know he had limited time in MC and FOE but those films had other decent actors who had screen precence when he was off screen...I dont think Craig Sheffer(whoever he is) is gonna hold my attention while Seagal is off screen for 15-20 minutes
