Does anyone use His Ways in daily life.

Hard To Kill
Another example of His Ways was presented to me and I will share. I must give credit to 007 who was in a movie with Capt. Nemo but the His Way were truly His Ways.

Do you mean Sean Connery as Alan Quatermaine in The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

Yes. I think all should see the movie and see and hear why Capt. Nemo said that to 007. 007 had baggage about past death that haunted him. I hope none of us have such big things haunting us but the statement by Capt. Nemo is a good one. I thought of Him and His Ways when I heard this. I used this in the NOW living many times and it really works. Even after you read this it is now in the past.

Thanks.
In the spirit of His Ways i offer a Meditation and prayer for This Day. It teaches me to live in the Now as you mentioned.

MEDITATION FOR THE DAY

In the new day, I will live one day at a time. I will make each day one of preparation for better things ahead. I will not dwell on the past or the future, only on the present. I will bury every fear of the future. All thoughts of unkindness and bitterness, all my dislikes, my resentments, my sense of failure, my disappointments in others and in myself, my gloom and my despondency, I will leave all these things buried and live in the moment so I can go forward, into the new day, into a new life.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

I pray that God will guide me one day at a time, a minute at a time in newness and regeneration. I pray that for each day, God will supply the wisdom and the strength that I need.

Halkush

We are but Warriors of God.
for it is not ordinary forces we battle in this world,
they are the unseen forces of darkness,
they disguise themselves in clever enticements, everyday enticement tha lure us from the path of His Ways.
Before the altar of God Let Him stand and Pray and ask for the strength , wisdom and discernment to see through those enticements with a sixth sense.
His belt is the belt of Truth,
His chestplate is the plate of Righteousness,
His helmet is the helmet of Salvation of the soul,
His footgear is the zeal to carry the Message of Peace,
His shield is the Shield of Faith,
His sword is the Holy Word of God that strikes down and wards off the black darts of the evil one.

With this imagery visualized before the altar of God , He is able to go forth strengthened for His Holy Quest. His Ways are God's Ways.

Halkush

Wow my friend. THat is the very best total thinking I have ever heard on the subject of His Ways. Much are deep inside me as my thoughts. I am proud to have heard your outstanding words. I hope that one day He can present these words in some form to the World through a movie of His Ways.

Your words and thoughts here should be the center piece of the His Ways Production. I sincerely hope the writer and R+D person can capture all of what you say and with strength your word gave go further to stretch to a higher level to present these ideas to Him as part of All of His Ways Around the World.

Carry on in the path you are on. More people should join you in your ways also.

Thank you

Tibetan Medicine propogates and explains tha overtime, negative or exptremely intense experiences good or bad times, slowly stun the body and the mind. they infiltrate the nervous system of our bodies and leave their influence behind in the form of deeply rooted energies tha abide in the deepest parts of our personality.
Here, according to tibetan medicne these old influences build and create emotional and spiritual garbage that, in time, physcal and emotional illness or negative life experiences.

these subtle underlying forces of ill-health relate to somethin called "karma". The way we react to the timuli around us, and the illusion we have of living in the present, create the causes and conditions of our lives. This is karma.

Karma can be deined as conscious mental decision and action carried out for a particular end result. Eveyday we create karma by experiencing problems, coping with stress, eating or drinking too much and even havin too much of a good or bad time-- when we are angry, lie, cause trouble for other people, or cause ourselves harma by actng before thinking things through. All of these daily experiences that we go through leave their imprints in our minds and bodies, on our lives and on those of other people.

You can overcome this dillema by knowing and studying where yu come from. Study the patterns you pick up from yur family of origin and ancestors, "Know Thyself" and then admit to your patterns and seek to learn skilful patterns of thinking, feeling and doing.
A Day at a time , a minute at a time one heals as you walk the walk in His Ways.
for it is not the destination but the journey that counts, as you shed each "onion" skin of your Karma. To live in the moment is to live in the purity of pure consciousness.

Once you start on this journey you become a Pilgrim, a Seeker on a journey in His Ways.

Once again Wow and thanks for adding to a already outstanding previous post. I would like to say I don't think I will ever hear better posts about His Way over the last two of your posts. I take my hat off and applaud you. Yes! the seldom heard slow clap...

Hey ! thanks but Don't blow my trumpet for too long, yesterday without thinking things through and spending time reflecting i did something stupid and regret it.
without whipping my self up over it i will definitey use it as a learning lesson in my journey as a pilgrim.
Pick oneself up,
dust oneself off,
and start all over again,
this is like a spiral staircase,
you evolve, go forwards 3-4 steps then
fall back 2-3 steps but not all the way, just keep going.
Just Walk the walk in His Ways.

Sometimes it becomes almost impossible to adhere to those principles, though. There are so many sad, sick people in our modern society that we have to deal with. Those who seem to be barely human in their behaviour towards someone. The drug abusers who want your wallet and will hurt you to get it, and those who are just plain mean. I've come across victims of these in my career, and it's very difficult to feel charitable towards that kind. But, we need wisdom and inner strength to do that. Sitting down by oneself and quietly reflecting on things He has said in interviews do tend to lift one's
spirits and help you to understand more. You end up smiling to yourself nodding your head as it all becomes clear. There's beauty in everything, and we are all gods!!
Mr. Steven Seagal, I absolutely adore you sir.

It takes such courage and determination not to hate the cruel acts or the cruel people who inflict them.
Once you start becoming a pilgrim and start walking in His ways it is really hard at times.
Jesus said to pray for your enemies and that's what I do, it's hard but there is spiritual law behind that, it releases one from the bad karma that is inflicted on you.
Another coping skill is to say to the person who is abusing yu "cancel, cancel, back to you" if it's unsafe to say it then think it, becuase that word cancels out the karma inflicted on you and cancels out the entanglement with it, cancels out and breaks the cycle of bad karma.
It actually is liberating yu from it.You learn detachment this way.
Practice, one has to practice these simple spiritual principles to evolve.
It's never easy.'
the way of the Pilgrim is slow and steady.
Love,
Halkush

No kidding it is HARD. I have been trying my best to live in His Ways, but whenever things get really hectic and difficult, as has been the case for me lately, it is way too easy to revert back to old, bad habits. And then I start feeling bad about that, and then I feel even more stressed out, and it all becomes a vicious cycle. It is hard to step out of that circle, and back onto a more positive path.
However... there are things that help. This site, for one, especially people like Chef and Halkush and I'll stop there because I will inevitably leave out someone and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. It's just that these two are the posts that have been helpful to me today, as I take a couple of hours to de-stress. Steven's music helps a great deal too, especially the song Music, and also Dark Angel (my two favourites).
I am having a very hard time right now with some people who are supposed to be on my side and supporting me in my work, and who are really not acting like it. It is hard to find Steven's way with them, other than envisioning their blockades as water that simply flows away, and I remain strong. It is not up to me to change their minds or actions, I can only remain true to myself. I know in my heart that my path is the right one for me.

Yes, it is hard, take heart, have courage, step out in one leap of faith,
working with people who seem to oppose you at every turn is dreadful.
Have you ever wondered why when you get closer to God and start living His Way, suddenly you start to have all sorts of obstacles in your spiritual path,
It's like they have been thrown yur way deliberately to make it harder for you to walk His walk.
I used to use a variety of coping skills,
go to a terrific concert,
listen to good music like you do.
ring someone up who is not connected with work and unload,
see a good comedy and laugh your head off.
organise a dress up fancy dress party with a theme.
try a new recipe,
go to a dance and dance it off,
do aerobics,
buy a new dress,
retail therapy helps,
start to paint,
or start a new hobby,
visit an orphanage and help out,
clean , so some spring cleaning,
I've tried all the above and it works even if temporarily, but in the end Pray hard for those people and wish God's blessings for good health, prosperity and a good life, all the benefits of the Holy Spirit, by the time you go through the list of blessings for them you don't feel so bad about them. You start to "see" and "feel" differently about them.

Jesus said "Pray seventy time seven for your enemies."
there is natural spiritual law in that.
He didn't say it for nothing.
We need to have faith in our guides and their sayings and teachings and just Do Them as stepping out in an act of faith no matter how hard it is, it works.
it releases us but we have to do the footwork, the rest God does.
there is a saying" do what you have to do , what's in front of you and leave the rest to God."
that means taking responsibility and doing whatever footwork, spiritual or practical, leave the rest to God and accept what comes down the shute."that is so hard, to accept.
The more you practice acceptance the higher the level of serenity.
Love and Peace to all Pilgrims,
Halkush

The most important thing I found for myself is to accept myself as i am, at whatever stage I'm at, and take myself off the hook, if i accept my own humanity and that my job is to just stay on the Path of His Ways, I'll evolve, obstacles are the best lessons for growth.
At the end of the day i ask myself,
Am i doing my best with the coping skills I've got?"
if I keep trying then there is no room for guilt.
I'm a human being and I'll keep making mistakes, i will keep being angry, sad, bad, but i will try to overcome and grow using the precepts of His Ways.

The path seen and unseen. I was mowing the lawn and thought of Him and His Ways. Parts of the lawn were short so you can,t see where to mow so you have to look ahead to see where you should be. I just kept going until the path appeared before me. I used His Ways to have faith that I was on the right path.

We can't always see what is the right path but if we are using His Ways we can just keep going forward with our lives. We will see the right path soon and our days will go smooth from then on because of His Ways.

I enjoyed using His Ways in a simple task. Perhaps you used His Ways during a simple task. Please share with us here so others may benefit from your revelations and insight. THis is a gift given by His Ways.

Thanks

Cheers,

Hey people, how's everybody doing? I hope you are all just fine. Been away for a break only to return to find my computer infected with a virulent virus that cost me a lot to get rid of. I tried to do it myself and found that it just didn't want to go, so I had to pay quite a bit for a repair IT guy to do it. Then a strange thing happened. After he got rid of the virus, all sorts of bad stuff was wrong with my pc. Sound card was missing, drivers were either wiped clean or had completely disappered. This guy then announced that I needed to pay a lot of money to sort it all out, and left. I then decided to do things myself and went on the Web to see what I could learn, and guess what? Lots of helpful folks on the good old Internet. I was told that it was a simple task. Just go to BOIS and select Default Configurations and, well, after doing all of that my computer was up and running in under five minutes!! That's all that that repair guy needed to do and I'm sure he must have known that. Anyway, it's fine now that's all that matters. So you guys been up to anything interesting in my absence? I so missed you all. But things are back to normal now and I'll be posting quite regularly again. Hey watch out for those pesky viruses, there're some deadly ones out there!! Later.

Wow- that is one big problem you had with your computer. I was wondering if you used His Ways to help you get through this situation.

Please let us know if you used His Ways?

Hey chef, what's cooking kiddo? Yeah, it was a big problem. I'll tell you what I did do. Halkush told us that if we were wronged by someone, we should repeat "Cancel, cancel, back to you" and I did that the whole time. Then I decided that there must be some way I could rectify the problem and went on the web. I mean I was so blown away by how easy it was. The repair man sat here and told me that I would have to pay a lot of money to remedy the problem, and the time it took me to surf the web, try out the tips I got and fix my pc must have taken all of ten minutes or less, and didn't cost me one red cent more!! I shall not be using that guy ever again. I thought about Steven a lot though. I haven't gone this long without playing one of his DVDs and I was cross about that. I suppose repeating what Halkush said is kinda like using His Ways, isn't it? It made me calm and confident enough to think straight and do what was needed to make things right. I was so pleased I got the sound back, I played three of his DVDs in one go. Later Chef.

Hi SA,

Thanks for all that chef and cooking talk you know I love it;) Great job posting Halkush thoughts as a response to His Ways. I find Halkush has a gift and has been helpful in describing the Total of His Ways.. I hope others use the cancel cancel back to you technique. It works so well it is almost to powerful and I begin to feel bad because I am winning without confrountation. Yes very powerful.

EXCELLENT JOB MAKING THINGS RIGHT. The peace you felt was part of His Ways. In one go?

Wonderful, thanks for making my day.

Winning without confrontation is kind of the point though, isn't it?
Or at least, making peace without confrontation. Defusing any situation begins with defusing your own anger.

Chef you are such a charmer, I do love your style kiddo. About Halkush, I agree with you, she does appear to be dedicated to the principles of His Ways
and has shared her deep beliefs with us. I, for one am grateful to her for that. I now find that I'm using "Cancel, cancel, back to you" as a kind of mantra whenever I am confronted with any disturbing situation. And you know something Chef, it calms me thoroughly. Don't you ever feel bad about any of it because as Tigerfeet posted, this is a valid method. I enjoy making your day kiddo, and will endeavour to do so always. Thanks my friend.

You know the thing that baffles me most Sue, the repairman builds computers and sells them. There's no way he wouldn't have known to do what I did to mend mine. The impression I got was that in his opinion I needed a completely new one. So I couldn't agree with you more, honest, helpful folks do exist, thank goodness.
