What´s the problem about the van Damme remark?
Everybody in this forum knows that Seagal doesn´t like the Martial Arts ability of van Damme.
I can understand him because van Damme is rather a ballet dancer than a Martial Artist. His Martial Arts on screen are not realistic...-only show.
In comparison to that Seagal´s brutally realistic fighting style is unique.

By the way, all the time I wonder why Seagal are not going to a plastic surgeon to lose his fat cells on his body. Than he would reach his old weight again.

Did someone watch the whole interview?
Did Seagal talk about the van Damme challenge at Stallone´s party?
Did he talk about Gene LeBell?
Did he talk about Chuck Norris?

On Michael Schiavello´s(The Voice) Twitter account the people posted that the Seagal interview was the greatest interview ever on "The voice vs...." because Seagal is such a contoversial figure.

God, I would love to see the entire interview.

I will be able to see it tomorrow...I will do my best to answer your questions....

That would be lovely Barbara Ann. Maybe you can post a transcript of the most interesting questions and Steven´s answers.
It´s a shame that nobody of the US hasn´t posted the entire interview on youtube.
People get mad there because it´s not there yet.

Youtube has just deleted the video but I saw it anyway because just minutes before they deleted it, I could watch it here....-yippie!!!!!

The interviewer asked Steven whether there´s a Hollywood tough guy who is a great Martial Artist besides him.
Seagal replied: I don´t know anybody.
Interviewer(Michael Schiavello): How about Michael Jai White?
Seagal: Can I laugh in your face?
Interviewer: van Damme?
Seagal: Can I laugh in your face?
Interviewer: Chuck Norris?
Seagal: Well, Chuck is in his mid 70´s right now.-75/76. So he´s very old and I heard from people that he´s .....-than Seagal stopped to continue..
My remark: Dear Steven the age of Mr Norris is 72.
Seagal continues: Michael Jai White is not a good Martial Artist and not a tough guy and with van Damme it´s exactly the same thing.

Hilarious. I love that Steven always says what he really thinks.

I managed to download from YouTube it and watch it last night. Thought it was strange that Steven Seagal said he didn't like the MMA fighters bad mouthing each other, yet he goes and bad mouths Michael Jai White and Van Damme. :D He also did not give Dolph Lungdren much credit too, but said he was a great guy.. He did say there were many great actors in The Expendables, so guess he was keeping his options open there.

The interview was interesting, Seagal said he knew Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung 40 years ago. Also said he met Bruce Lee too via James Coburn. He also mentioned Putin and his visit to Russia.

Why is he always bashing on every other action star? He talks like he is the only martial artist in the world. He is so rude. One thing is for sure: this is not good for the possibility to have him in EX3. No cast member will like him for this. Goodbye EX3....
