I think people need to chill, with regards to OUT OF REACH

I'm just about the biggest Sensei fan around, but I also have a sense of humor... so yeah, love those reviews Vern. :D

PS. the Tomisaburo Wakayama similarity is something I've enjoyed forever. With Sensei's size, grimace, and complete mastery of the blade, he would be the only sane choice if they ever did another version of the Lone Wolf & Cub stories (and the Japanese still love him as far as I know, so they would certainly buy him in the role)

Well, I've only just started watching Samurai Jack, so I'm a bit behind the times. Hate the animation, but even so, I can't help watching the story unfold.

Seems he reminds some people of Steven...

This subject (SEAGAL doing a remake of SHOGUN ASSASSIN) was my very first post on the (official) STEVEN SEAGAL site, over four years ago. I think it would be a good move for the sensei, as at least the plot would be quality (something a little lacking in his recent ventures)
peace

Time for Clement to ask his stupid question of the day. Who is Samurai Jack?

As they say, Clement, no such thing as a stupid question. :)

This is Samurai Jack, created by and for Cartoon Network. I've always thought of Steven when I've watched it. Check out the widow's peak and the ponytail--not to mention the scowl. :D

Oh cool, never heard of Samurai Jack before. Don't really think he looks that much like steven seagal though. He does have big hands, lol. I think Steven Seagal would be a good animated character, like maybe "Under Seige The Animated Series". Each week he'd kick ass.

Hey, did you guys know that Jackie Chan had an animated cartoon series about himself? The Jackie Chan Adventures. He did some live action scenes in the beginning, and would appear at the end of the show, and he did his own voice for every episode. The cartoon was about him and his preteen niece, Jade. Initially they had to return twelve magical talismans representing the animals of the Chinese zodiac, and they went on to face the "bad guys" every episode.

It was from the year 2000, and ran a year or two, I think. It's still shown here on Cartoon Network every week night. Not bad at all, really. Especially if you're a cartoon nut like I am. :D

So, if Jackie can do it, why not Steven, eh? ;)

The voice is so nice, but to really love someone, things like that don't matter either...
Even if that changed I wouldn't care, he moves me in so many ways...
You never know what could happen so it's best not to be attached to specific things like that...
The CD is a great gift, but he could be a mime and he'd still knock my socks off, hehehe...

I don't blame them for wanting to make a character just like him...
I do think that it is modeled after Steven...
But no proof...
