Figures.....after all these years The Path Beyond Thought is finally getting a DVD release.....I remember reading about that DVD supposedly coming out back when they were selling the VHS tape of it...and I think that was USA only too........
Did you notice the 1st Season schedule....it's starts Dec 2.....and completes its run before Christmas(12/23)
that's actually a mini-series...a total of 7 episodes...that should make it almost impossible to sell to other broadcast stations....

Notice they don't ship anywhere else except USA and Canada. :(

Just need it shipped to a US/Canada address and have them forward it on........
I've had to do that here in the US because not all of the states here agree om many items....

videos are very nice show will be awesome steven is really cop.

I believe Seagal is actually one of many 'Honorary Deputy Sheriffs" titles given out by that particular county.....the program I think is a bit mis-leading....just about anyone can become one....Kid Rock is one also(unless he didn't renew his title) Tom Arnold gave them a bit of publicity when he was using flashing lights to get across a bridge....some of the other nearby counties are not that 'hot' on the idea of just handing out these titles to celebs...but that's another story...according to TV listing Seagal will be on 'The View"...perhaps he may clear it up at that time...

I don't think it's going to be the old A&E Seagal Bio. There's a new version that mentions Lawman, so that's probably the one they'll run with now.

An updated Bio would be nice...but it doesn't indicate being 'new'....
I do think that being it's on A&E...that it will no doubt be filled with commercials for Lawman(if I had input of 'advertising.....that's what I would sure recommend)

I hope you are right tho'....I'd like to see something current....

Being that the site and various videos mention that his next film is going to be filmed in New Orleans.....I'm mean ...isn't that where 'Kill Switch" was filmed 2 years ago?

That would make this "Lawman' footage somewhere between 2-3 years old already...

Might be good for discussion.....anybody have any ideas/views on when this Lawman footage was actually shot?

They ran the new version of the Bio episode at least once, almost a month ago, and they still had the old description up on the site back then. I'm not sure what's up with that.

The new version uses a lot of material from the old Bio, but there's some material on Lawman, a new narrator, and a couple of extra people in the interviews, including two writers from Cracked.com and a guy from 30 Rock.

OK....that will be good
I'll make sure I 'catch' it this time around
Thanks for the info.

where can I find the mini game? what kind of mini game is it ?

http://www.aetv.com/steven-seagal-lawman/firearms-qualification-game/

It's based on he 'ole shooting gallery type game....
In Episode 1 Seagal is teaching a cop how to improve his shooting skill because he has a firearms qualification test coming up....So Seagal gives him some pointers...as you progress in the game the targets get farther away until you are trying to 'light the matchstick'...as Seagal tried.

Yep...you were right.......Glad I recorded it.....I don't think I ever saw this Bio before....I got the E-Hollywood bio somewhere around here.......but it's not anything like this A&E Bio....

I wonder what version they are selling in the A&E store?

Nice to see some out-takes(seemed like much was from "Into The Sun") some musical stuff(Crystal Cave,BB King) and some of the "Lawman" as you said....and of course the commercial breaks had the Lawman previews.....

It's definitely an "update'
J.L.
PS: I just looked to see what year the Bio was(unknown)..and I see they have the other 3 Lawman episodes for pre-order sale for Jan 11 release(tho' Medicine Man has a 50mt running time).
Geeeeez...they want $25 per episode......or $20 for the whole season ...who the heck is in charge of sales there?....lol

So the 7 episodes(Complete Season 1) must be:

Steven Seagal Lawman: The Way of The Gun #1

Sheriff's Deputy Steven Seagal and his team capture an armed carjacker after a high-speed chase and tackle a convicted felon packing a pistol. In between these impressive busts, Seagal, the world-class marksman, teaches a fellow team member amazing Zen shooting techniques--techniques everyone on his team will need to survive the dangerous streets of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

Steven Seagal Lawman: Too Young to Die #2

Steven and his team get a call to the scene of car accident involving a two-year-old but they discover that things aren't quite what they seem. Later, Steven shows some tough-love to a teenager hiding a deadly sawed-off shotgun. While off-duty, Steven visits the New Orleans Children's Hospital cancer ward and is so touched by the kids that he straps on his blues guitar and throws a benefit concert to raise money for the hospital.

Steven Seagal Lawman: The Deadly Hand #4

After a close call chasing a suspect with a gun, Aikido master Steven Seagal teaches his team of sheriff's deputies some self-defense and weapons retention techniques. Back out on patrol, they get called to a parking lot brawl. They detain the suspects, but one resists arrest and kicks out a patrol car window. Later, Steven encounters two belligerent men with a gun. The members of Steven's team are glad they've been trained by the best.

Steven Seagal Lawman: Medicine Man #?

Deputy Chief Steven Seagal's on patrol so all the criminals run and hide. That's exactly what happens when a suspicious person call leads to an exciting chase that has Steven and his team scouring yards. Later, they face a cat and mouse game as they search a dark neighborhood for two more runners. All the running leaves Colonel John Fortunato with a knee injury. Steven takes him to a Chinese acupuncturist where he shares his knowledge of Chinese medicine and tries to make a skeptical cop into a true believer.

Steven Seagal Lawman: To Live or Die #?

Deputy Chief Steven Seagal and his team find themselves in a desperate situation when two men are robbed and shot. Steven tries to keep the victims calm until the ambulance gets there but it's not clear if the men will live. While not chasing down bad guys, Steven and his partner Johnny find themselves in another desperate situation when they help rebuild a home for a family who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina.

Steven Seagal Lawman: Firearms of Fury #?

Steven and his team bust a suspect fleeing with a loaded .44 magnum and are called to the scene of a young man shot with a shotgun. With all these guns around, Steven and his team know they need to sharpen their street skills. They head to the best training they can get: a comprehensive computerized crime simulator and "real world" shoot house. Later, when a routine traffic stop takes a potentially deadly turn, Steven is glad he and his team are so well prepared.

Steven Seagal Lawman: Killer Canines #7

Deputy Chief Steven Seagal and his team get a call for a burglary-in-progress and rush to the scene. They call in the K-9 Unit to search for a suspect who may still be in the home. Later, Steven apprehends a man who broke into a woman's house while fleeing from the police. Steven takes measures to defend his own home: guard dogs. If Steven can get his two aggressive, alpha males to work well together, he knows he'll have a canine protection team that can take on any intruder.
