The film apparently co-stars Michael Pare, another b-movie action guy, most famous for his 80's heydey in stuff like Eddie and The Cruisers and Streets Of Fire.

Direct Contact should rock though, it's got Ross Clarkson as DP and also it's just a good old action idea. Should kick ass. Nu Image are rockin at the moment. Dolph's still looking in top shape.

No he's only producing. Dolph likes to have the odd acting gig where he can relax a bit more. I think after this he's got a film that's been written for him to direct, and following that he's gonna try and get his pet project Icarus off and running, which he'll write, direct and star in, as well as try and get financing for. As for Direct Contact, I think it's in good hands (directed by Danny Lerner who is one of the guys behind Nu Image- and his last film went to theatres in parts of Europe). All involved want to make a good action flick anyway. Signs look good so far.

If Stage 6 is in the proyect will be a good action flic to enjoy, as Missionary Man, The Shepperd and Pistol Whipped.
This kind of movies need fights almost every 10 minutes. If they do the film in that way will be good enough for the action B-movies fans.

Apparently there's gonna be plenty of fights, explosions, gun fights and chases. They've crammed a lot into this pic. The guy who runs the Dolph forum got to do a set visit. Also Dolph and Pare have a couple of fights. This one should definitely deliver. And agreed, on the whole this year has been pretty good in the DTV stakes. I wasn't so keen on The Shepherd as it could have been so much better (still had enough vintage JC moments to entertain), but MM, and especially PW were solid.
