Running time!
1h:34m:40 seconds.

Plot:
We know the plot, no need to waste time on it ;)

Performences:
Some pretty good performences by everyone in the movie. Would actualy say that acting wise, Michael Paré did the best job. But ofcourse Seagal and Austin has their onscreen charisma which no one has.

Action:
When it comes to shootouts, this movie deffenetly delivers in every way possible, in my opinion it should have been called Maximum Shootout instead :D In terms of the action in general, I think they did a really good job.

Fightscenes:
Steven Seagal has 4 really good fightscenes well spread throughout the movie. The first one starts not even 12 minutes after the movie has started. ;)
he even does one of his famous bonecrushing technices on a guys arm in fightscene 3, and the dialouge that follows carcked me up :D

Austin has 1, maby 2 fightscenes, I actualy cant remember. I was more focused on Seagal ;) But the one fightscene i do remember was really good. As we all know, Austin is a former wrestler and has a diffrent fighting style than Seagal. But his style fits the movie great.

Bren Foster has 1 really good fightscene. He actualy surprised me and I kept saying to myself *This guy is deffenetly going places in due time in the action genere.*

End Sequence:
Something tells me that we could be getting a MaxCon 2, the end sequence has some dialouge from Seagal that could be used to make a sequel. But you can decide for yourself when you've seen the movie :) The dialouge is in the spoiler below ;)
Austin: What are you up to now?? Seagal: I got another mission for us, remember it ain't over untill we're dead.

Production:
I dont think the production seems low budget,it dosen't have a big production but its deffenetly not low either. I think somewhere in between. :)

Rating:
R!!

So .. what do we get when we mix all of this up in one big bowl, I tell you what we get, a really really good kickass Seagal action movie in the old school genere :) If he keeps it up like this, man we are in for a hell of a ride in the future

I just watched the movie and All im going to say is this was one amazing movie by far the best movie steve austin has ever starred in and the best direct to video movie waxman has ever made. No dubbing steve austin has amazing fight scenes and shootouts not also to mention a few good one liners that will make you laugh out loud as well as seagal. he actually put a lot of effort into these fight scenes has also some amazing one liners that made me and my brother laugh out loud, this is one adventure I think no seagal fan or austin fan is gonna wanna miss. If you think seagal hasnt made a decent movie in years You have to watch this cause honestly? this movie is id say the best direct to video movie he has ever done.

Well, I’ve heard the sentence „best dtv movie“ for almost every movie he made in the last years, and, to be honest, unfortunately, most of the movies turned out disappointing (except maybe Pistol Whipped or The Keeper). I’m still not expecting much, hope it’s gonna be decent at least.

Another review (I hope I will see it different):

Watched it last night, overall i certainly would not call it the best DTV movie. For me it is decent, but overall not very good.

Plus Points:
No stunt doubles easily visible
No dubbing
Some nice fights with Steven Seagal
Bren Foster fight scene
Stone Cold dispatching a couple of bad guys with a screwdriver.

Negatives:
Crap story.
Bland characters.

For me i would rate it 5-6 / 10.

For me this sums it up from the review Martin linked to:
Oh yes, this unmistakably is a B-movie but what else did you expect from a movie starring Steven Seagal, Steve Austin and Michael Paré in it.

It's dumb, simplistic and not even all that entertaining or action packed to watch. Even the simple little things such as gun- and fist fights have a low-budget look to them. Guess it's true there is definitely still a market and a large group of fan-boys for these type of movies but this still remains far from the best thing the genre has to offer.

I have justed watched it and overall id give it 8/10 for a seagal movie and 6/10 for an action movie in general.
I think waxman did a good job on a 8M budget and its a better film than Van Dammes AG and about level with 6 bullets so compared to the other DTV competion its a decent film...is it seagals best since EW,well IMO no I still think UJ and PW are a bit better for the simple fact that those 2 films have more screen time for seagal and a better story

That said i think most Seagal fans and action/DTV fans in general will like it

he has about 50% screen time at the most

but the other scenes are usually austin or pare so unlike other seagal where he is not on screen where get z list romanian/canadian actors this time when he is not on screen its not an issue....unless of course you hate austin or pare in whch case the lack of seagal will bother so people

come on be honest this movie is way better than van damms 6 bullets and im not just saying that because i like seagal more i like van damme movies he can make good movies to but come on this one has way more fight scenes yeah the story was a lil ahhh but it wasnt that bad if u actually pay attention it has a good story:)

I dont like Van Damme generally and have never rated his STV Films and I have always been confused when people say why cant seagal make STV films with the same quality as VD....to me his STV films and seagals are equal ie.both have some nice fights, confusing plots, poor cgi etc

but i have to edmit that i thought 6 bullets was a good STV film and one of VD best

Saw it. The only problem I have with it is that Seagal dont have that much screentime, and his current weight. He would look so much better on screen and give it a whole other feel if he was in decent shape, so that actualy ruined it for me a bit.

Well, finally got round watching it. To be honest....i liked it.
Thought it was entertaining, action packed and had an overall above par quality look.

I've seen worse movies do well in cinema.

The only thing bothering me in the movie was Seagal in his tac-gear, that really looked ridiculous, so i'm actually glad he didn't have too much screentime. Al the fights scenes were pretty good imo.

Peace

Sounds great. Can`t wait to watch it! I think I will wait for the Blu-Ray next week. Can`t wait for the already mentioned arm-break Scene;-).

About Seagals Screentime: I will rather watch a good Action-movie with Seagal in it than a mediocre Seagal Movie.

Kotegashi, how is the final fight-scene between Seagal and Paré? And what about the stunt-doubles? Thanks.
