Saw it. The only problem I have with it is that Seagal dont have that much screentime, and his current weight. He would look so much better on screen and give it a whole other feel if he was in decent shape, so that actualy ruined it for me a bit.

Totaly agree. It is starting to get to me to.

thisi s what i think some of u are all blah cause u think seagal didnt have enough screen time you know why? because it also had 2 other stars in in that are pretty famous if it was a steve austin movie and seagal was just in it im sure steve austin fans would complain cause he didnt have enough screen time, or if it was a michael pare movie his fans would complain he didnt have enough screen time. there were 3 main action stars so they cameras had to try to make it even.

I'm actually glad he didn't have that much screentime. Don't get me wrong, his fight scenes were top notch, some nice old school moves and fast, but his overall appearance is starting to work against him and kinda hinders the movie.

Peace

Sounds great. Can`t wait to watch it! I think I will wait for the Blu-Ray next week. Can`t wait for the already mentioned arm-break Scene;-).

About Seagals Screentime: I will rather watch a good Action-movie with Seagal in it than a mediocre Seagal Movie.

Kotegashi, how is the final fight-scene between Seagal and Paré? And what about the stunt-doubles? Thanks.

I think the fight with Pare was the best of the movie. Old school brutality.
When you focus on stunt doubles you will always see them, when you 'just' watch the movie you won't notice them at all, great job IMO.

Peace

I 100% agree with you... it's actually hard to watch him in his current state... the movie was half decent and I found it pretty entertaining, but each time I saw Seagal I just wished he had a scarf on over his chins... ughhh.. if I was a rich celebrity I would just get that stuff "fixed"

Oh and the fight scene with the chick and the big black dude and Seagals fight at the end are by far the two best...

sorry didn't follow the rule of not posting two messages in a row :p

Very bad movie with an extremely boring story. 1-2 shootouts are ok, but most of the time they are just walking around in a dark building. The soundtrack is bad too. I would prefer True Justice, who at least does have some interesting locations and half decent stories, anytime over this.
3/10.

I dont mind TJ but its nowhere near has good as MC

TJ is ok but its limited in terms of violence and action

watch any episode of TJ and it has the same pattern ie..a fight in the first 10 minutes and one in the last 10 and a shootout inbetween

its too resticted for me and ill always prefer a good movie over a TV series

also to say its boring is weird has abut 60 minutes of its 90 mins runtime is action

Lately, I'm in general bored about this standard b-movies, but in my opinion, the story here is extremely boring and uninspired even for a Seagal movie. TJ may be limited in terms of action but does have at least a little bit of a story, better characters and locations. Points who are more important to me. Also it was just boring to see them walking around in an uninteresting building. 1-2 action scenes were ok, but that doesn't help much. For me it's the worst movie since Kill Switch (unfortunately).

Agreed, production wise this movie is much better than a load of his DTV movies though. Wish they paid more for a decent script though, give us something different for a change.

Ok, when we all turn 60, lets all come back here and post pictures of ourselves.
I would say that I cannot believe what is being said about Steven's appearance in Maximum Conviction...but correct me if I am wrong, it is all MEN complaining about what Steven looks like.
He HAS lost weight, you guys WILL see this as time goes on...
He is still an amazing martial artist
