Yesterday I received my blu ray of MaxCon (Dutch release). There was also a behind the scenes featurette, a featurette called "Icons" and interviews with Bren Foster and Steve Austin. Really liked the behind the scenes featurette.

I got a little behind in my Seagal movies, been catching up the past few weeks, recently watched Maximum Conviction, twice in fact, over a few weeks time.
I really, really like it!
I am also a big fan of Steve Austin's movies, so for me it was as good a film when he was on screen as when Seagal was.
This sort of story, the sort of limited location with all the action sort of being in one place like that really appeals to me, like Under Siege 1 and 2 and others.
I had not seen Bren Foster, I think his name is? before, but he was really good too.I think I read he has a larger role in Force of Execution, which I have not seen yet, so I look forward to that.
Overall, I got to say, I am really enjoying these movies Seagal's doing with Keoni Waxman, they are right up my alley, well made for their budgets and the action is well done, like in this one.
I understand this isn't for everyone, but if this was the type of movie he made from now on, I'd be very happy, honestly.
Some shooting, some fighting, some great one liners, this really struck a chord for me.
Take care,
Kevin
