MAx Conviction isn't doing anything better than True Justice in any way! After waiting all this time for Max Conviction i don't think it has been worth it. There is some reasonable parts in it but i think any of us could have come up with a better storyline and it has a real low budget feel about it. Seagal does his best but he's competing with Austin for screen time. Please dump Waxman he's done enough damage!!

Waxman is better than most STV directors and i watch alot of STV films
Ernie Barbarash(Van Dammes go to man) is a poor director compared to waxman
AG had a 10M budget and was a shocking film yet MC only cost 6M and is a far better film
although 6 bullets was OK waxman could have made a better film IMO
Van Damme needs to stay with John Hymes who is a better director for him and while i think Seagal should stick with Waxman if he is to continue with STV films
Waxman is a surely a better director than Michael Keusch and others he worked with, but nevertheless, the movies are starting to bore me. I really didn't like "Maximum Conviction" with it's boring story and the shaky camera during the fights. The best Waxman-movie I think was the first one, "The Keeper" which had good locations, solid fight scenes and a lot of charm. But I don't think that will happen again.
There are three things Seagal should make now:
- Losing weight
- Asking Roel Reiné for directing the next Seagal movie
- Undersign for a role in the next Ependables movie
But unfortunately, nothing of this will happen.
I always thought that Seagal appearing in a film with another action star was going to be a problem. Not only are they competing for screen time but when it's people like Steve Austin or Anderson Silva all they are going to do is show how out of shape Seagal really is. Even Danny Trejo who is 7 years older than Seagal is more believable as an action star than Seagal currently is.
I have to agree on Waxman though, he needs to go![/quote
Glad to hear i'm not the only one who thinks this!! :-D
I have to disagree with you. Waxman is doing a great job. He is the one that saved Seagal out of his low quality dtv movies like Attach Force and Black Dawn. The Keeper and A Dangerous Man look good and have great cinematography. Also Waxman is the main director of True Justice. Waxman and Seagal are friends. Seagal likes to work with him and that's why also Seagal puts in some effort.

2.Who is to say RR would want to work with seagal...Its ok saying seagal should work with this perosn or that person but its up to the director and for me RR is working with Universial now and with better budgets so why would he work with seagal with 5-6M budgets and a star with an ego.If it was up to me seagal should be working with Simon West,Pierre Morel or Chris Nolan but he never will so we will have to accept waxman or similar
