I just got invlolved with his followers not so long ago and therefore I was curious. And I attended their lectures out of simple curiosity to hear what these religious or pretend-to-be-religious nuts were gonna say this time.I used to visit church founded by American missonaries some time back and then I faced their hypocricy and quit.So last year I came across these folks,or,to be more exact, they came across me.When I heard the story aout this Korean freak my hair started moving on my head.I thought to myself "What? This sounds even better than before!",of course in a sarcastic way.Right now got a book on my desk "Moon's Empire" by Boyer Jean-Francois.Gonna make it clear for myself that's a total brainwashing.Well,if they believe it,ok,I'm not the one to tell them not to do it.But I'm boyond that. They're just stalkers.

From the books I read, getting involved with them would be like playing with fire. The stuff in the books, and the first hand documentary was scary.
As for the other missionary groups remember they are human. There will always be some bad apples in the bunch. Don't let it discourage you. Use the good judgement the Lord gave you and weed the bad ones out. Trust me, they are out there.

Shucks...I'm already scared enough...About 60 first pages of that book I read already convinced not to get in their spotlight anytime soon. But each time I'm in the city there's a danger for me to face any of them. But I quit with organiazations like that.I'm done.I don't wanna hear anything about them any more.I don't trust any of them.

Tora, You shouldn't get yourself in a place where you can not trust people anymore. There are good people out there. You will always come across real yahoo's out there. Here is a famous quote. Lets see if I can get it word for word. "Look for the good in others. If you only look for the bad you will surely find it."

It would be wonderful if all people would simply heed the words of Jesus' ministries to "Love one another as yourself". Think about it ... if everyone in the world would actually LIVE his words of wisdom, there would be no more fighting over which religion is "right". God has sent us a very powerful message through his humble servant Jesus - let us live up to those words that go beyond time. Let our "passion" become those good words.

In my opinion if everyone followed Gods word in the bible there would be no fighting over what is "right" because the bible is filled with Gods truth. A person who calls themselves a "christian" doesn't have the same meaning it used to. It has been liberalized. People who don't even go to church but think of themselves as "good people" call themselves christians. I didn't want to play russian rullet with my life and where I spend eternity. I remember reading in the bible the verse, John 14:6 "Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man come to the father but by me." That is when I realized some "religions" don't follow Gods word. I think the one that really struck home with me is John 3:16&17. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." Whenever I think about how God sent Jesus to go through all that for me, and the whole world, I feel so unworthy. I can't help but think of all my faults and to know he loves me anyway. To know all that, I knew I needed him in my life, and there was no way for me I wanted to reject what he did for me. That is why I asked Jesus into my heart and life that others might see him in my life and actions. Yea, sometimes I trip up, But I have to remember the only one who has never sinned is Jesus. Like a parent God will "correct us", in his own way. Like a kid, who likes to be corrected? No one. Human nature!
This is what I have read in the bible and what I believe. That is my two cents!:)
Sincerely, Julie

+ Your very correct, Julie. God will correct us in his way, but we most also follow his way of light. I was raised a Orthodox christian, so we all believe, and know, "Christ is the lamb that was to shed it's blood for thy own sake into life"-Thess. Ch. 4 (?).
God sarcificed his own son, Jesus so we all could live and so our children could live.
Christ sufferd the ultimate punishment in order to save us. So that in the end, we may live forever, and be eternal in God's kingdom. Humans will always NEVER be perfect. The ONLY person that was EVER perfect....was Jesus, the son of God. So we must do all that we can in order to accept christ, as our savior, and to help our fellow man. I'ts OK to be a kid...we should all enjoy life, at this age. Just remeber what Christ did for us, and belive, and have faith in him. He will save us from the Great Tribulation, when the Anti christ takes over...and we will triumph, in God light, and word. Amen. :) +
