New Information From A Reviewer

"There is no fight in any prison involving Seagal, just his daugther. There are several fights with kicks and bullets. He's a former CIA and his daugther is kidnapped by mistake along with an american Senator daugther by a so called Indonesian (or Malaysian) guerrilla.

The very first fight of the film starts in the beggining when he is still a CIA, negotiating with bad guys (he's undercover). They tried to ambush him, but they're so wrong! He's kicking ass as he used to be.

When he realises his daugther has been kidnapped, he flies to Indonesia (or Malasia) and starts fighting whoever confronts him. For me one of the best fights on the film is at the Fish Market, in a Disco, at the Police Station and with a Malayan General. This last one reminded me the one he had with William Forsythe in "Out for Justice". And there were much more, let me tell you, most of them with hand to hand fights and bullets, as "Nico Toscani" (Above the Law).

I don't know what else to say without being dishonest with the fans that love the thrill until they sit to see the movie, but if you ask me, it's the best of Seagal since "Under Siege 2".

This is what we currently know in regards to the Action:

1. Negotiation: "The very first fight of the film starts in the beginning when he is still a CIA, negotiating with bad guys (he's undercover). They tried to ambush him, but they're so wrong! He's kicking ass as he used to be."

2. Prison Fight Involving his Daughter

After He Traveled to Thailand:

3. Fish Market

4. Disco: "You know how Seagal always finds somebody getting picked on in a bar or club and saves them? In this one he helps a gal (hooker?) getting pushed around in a dance club where he is going to meet "an old friend" from the CIA. As he's leaving the club she says, "I want to thank you for what you did for me at the club." And they're still in the club!"

5. Police Station: "Seagal decides to kick everybody's ass while handcuffed inside the police headquarters. That's an uphill battle we've all considered before so you gotta commend the dude".

6. Sniper Scene: "Then there is a part where Seagal sees that a sniper is about to shoot a dangerous terrorist. But the terrorist may be the only person that knows about where his daughter is, so instead he kills the sniper even though "a whole world of trouble is gonna come down on us."

7. Drag Fight: "For no reason at all, one of the bad guys is a man passing for a woman (think Asia the Invincible). Seagal pulls the poor guy's shirt down and says "I liked you better as a bitch." The guy wears heels and does wire fu but unfortunately Seagal defeats him pretty quick."

8. Fight with Malayan General: "In the final battle Seagal fights a guy who shoots arrows at him. The first arrow goes in slow motion and Seagal shoots it apart in mid-air. The guy keeps shooting more arrows and Seagal actually cuts one in half with a sword."

i have it on pre order because it looks like it won't be released in Canada untill January 20. That's the date that Futureshop.ca, Amazon.ca, and CDplus.com have listed. When the Foreigner came out it was also delayed in Canada. But Out for a Kill was released on the same day as the states.

Ooohhh, Pat--Vegas at Christmas. I'm SO jealous! I love Vegas, but I've never been over the holidays. If you've never been there, you'll LOVE the Bellagio!! It's beautiful; considered one of the finest in all of Vegas. Sounds like a perfect holiday week, Pat. Have a wonderful time. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Sounds like a great Xmas for you and your son Pat..
I love Las Vegas myself but have'nt been there since the mid 90's..I stayed at the Luxor and went to the Grand Canyon and most of the shows on the strip..Its a great city and I wish I could be there myself..
Your son and his fiance should have a great time at The Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island..I pass it every day and it is very nice and is beautiful-comparable to anything on the Vegas strip..

Guess what guys,,,I JUST GOT AN ADVANCED COPY OF "BELLY OF THE BEAST" FROM A LOCAL VIDEO STORE... I gotta work tonight and busy tomorrow but will definately get to see it this weekend..As you know, I have already pre-ordered the original dvd from www.bn.com

Thanks Mike, I got inside one day,( The Atlantis Resort) not to stay overnight, believe it or not I was on a Disney Cruise, My friend )grandmother of one the children we took on the cruise )& I went inside to look around, I had to put a few coins in the machine just so they wouldn't feel lonesome. But I thought the hotel was the most gorgeous
one I had ever seen. Good to hear from you, I don't get too much time to
post any more, read when I can, but between Work and my husband's illness I am
kept busy.

Pat

Yep Pat, it is a pretty spectacular hotel and it will be expanding even more over the next few years..
Its always streaming with tourists and celebrities and those who like to gamble or just laze around on the beach behind it..
The Bellagio in Vegas is a beautiful hotel as well and you will enjoy your time there I'm sure...I'm very envious of you. Nice place to spend Xmas
