Steven Seagal will star in a new action thriller called A Good Man for Voltage Pictures with Keoni Waxman directing and a 10M budget

The film is a revenge movie and will be shot in New Mexico where Seagal plays a Recluse who is brought out of Retirement to help an old friend Sam Huang from the chinese mafia

Sounds alot like A Dangerous Man

It dosent mention NM on this site but on the paid site i got the original info from it mentioned NW

with the cast being asian mostly going of the plot id say they would film in canada where alot of asian actors are based

also no co-star is mentioned but Waxman said on the Q and A on this site that he was looking at getting the guy from the Raid and Fast and Furious 6 for FOE but it didnt happen..maybe he will be in this film

Maybe Byron Mann will co-star again.

But anyway, I'm not really interested in the movie. It will be shot in 20 days as usual, with a lot of fight doubles. It's getting boring. I even don't know if I should watch FOE.

I know, at least he is making films in the US and Canada and not in Eastern Europe these days, but nevertheless he should try something different now. Maybe making a movie in Hongkong, for example. That would be interesting. But I doubt something like that will happen anytime soon.

It dosent work like that...Seagal goes were the work is

I think the days of Seagal picking which country he wants to make a movie in are gone

I like the sound of FOE but this sounds like DM a bit to much for me

I hope someone like Byron Mann is the co-star or if not someone that people have heard of

Teaming Seagal with Austin/Trejo/Rhymes is a good idea as it means when seagals not on screen the film
is still interesting to watch unlike the eastern europe thrillers he was doing when the support cast were bad romanian actors/or UK soap stars

I agree. He needs good co-stars.

If they for example cast Byron Mann, Joe Taslim and Bren Foster, rounded up with a short appearance of a another known asian actor (someone like Simon Yam), I would say that's not a bad cast.

Yes, I know, very unrealistic...

That's literally the most generic Steven Seagal DTV plot they could have come up with.

It has it all, Seagal playing an ex-something or other with a dark past, he has to go against the chinese triads/eastern european mafia, has to save a little girl etc. etc.

I'm guessing Seagal will also be wearing a leather jacket in all of his scenes and he has a 19-year old supermodel for a girlfriend.

The plot also seems to set up a large part of the movie to be headlined by this Sam character, meaning Steven can put his usual 4-hours a day effort. Most of the time he will be standing in the shadows or sitting by a table or in a car, there's going to be a couple of quick fight scenes, mostly done by his stunt double, some explosions and a badly filmed car chase.

So in other words, another boring, virtually unwatchable garbage product like Maximum Conviction.

He gets offered EX3 and he chooses this instead, the same thing he's done 20 times before.
He clearly doesn't want to step outside his comfort zone.

I can't blame him for doing these movies for the quick paychecks, but it's obvious that he does not care one bit for his fans or the product he puts out.

I'll be waiting until this hits Netflix so I can fast forward it through.

You guys are ridiculous. There was a lot of people who thought force of execution was going to be crap because of its plot. Now looking at the trailer & reading everyones comments those people who thought the movie was going to be crap said the trailer actually looks really good.

Yes seagal has made a couple similar movies like this but you have to remember those were with different directors. Waxman is getting use to the fact of making good action movies. The keeper had a good look but not a lot of action. then he kinda got a little better with a dangerous man putting a lot of fights scenes in it making seagal look bad ass. Then he came out with max con which was still really good. Not the best but still better than attack force, out of reach, black dawn, flight of fury, etc. Now hes coming out with Force of execution good cast etc hes getting better with each movie he makes because hes learning! Now if force of execution is really good when it comes out im deff going to be looking forward to this new one because possibly he will make it better right/?

I liked MC so if its the same kind of film i dont mind

Also why is everybody so obsessed with EX3......nobody knows for sure if he was even offered if

Also if he was to be in it he would have had at best 15 mins screen time going of the size of the cast...for me id rather have seagal make a well done STV in which he is the star than him making a small apperence in EX3

Could it be the movie we heard about a while back with Steven Seagal and Aderson Silva?

So Seagal picked up another Voltage/Waxman garbage instead of making EX3? Pathetic. Sorry guys, but Seagal's movie career is over. It's all over. I'm still huge fan of early Seagal, but these present time flicks no thanks.

ill say it again....he did not turn down EX3

if you want to blame someone then blame Stallone who mentioned it on twitter and got everyones hopes up

IMO i could not give a toss about EX3 but i also doubt that if seagal was offered a role he would turn it down

It's Stallone's fault?! Come on, Stallone DID OFFER him a role in EX3. Seagal was interested and wanted to be in EX3, IF THE PART FITS. So Stallone abviously tried to write something that fits for Seagal, but Seagal didn't like it, so he turned the offer down. Stallone didn't lie to us on twitter.

Of course Mr. Seagal, your career is so good right now that you can demand a part that fits! Fuck off, he should have accepted Sly's offer and be part of the cast. But no, he has to make A Good Man.
Come on, how stupid and not fan releated can you be, Mr Seagal!?

Mark my words: Byron Mann will be in this again. Maybe Bren Foster too. Foster can offer the fans some quality fight scene entertainment while Seagal is off screen (proboably 40 minutes of the whole movie).

Oh shut uuuuuuuuup! You dont know if he turned it down, you dont know if he was made a final offer, you dont know anything about it that the rest of us dosnt already know, so SHUT UP and stop acting like mr. KnowItAll

And YES, Fatty Seagal IS to blame as usual, by the way he lets down his fans and stuffing his face like a bloated pig. But what else is new

Okay. Let's get on topic or the thread will be closed.

Fact is, Seagal isn't in EX 3 and will be in AGM. We have to deal with this because there is nothing we can do about it.

Peace
