I´ve just discovered a great Seagal interview from 1988 on YouTube.

Seagal was there in order to promote his debut film "Above the Law".

The Show is called "Hour Magazine 1988" -Martha Stewart, Barbara Mandrell and Steven Seagal.

Great interview with a fit and handsome Seagal.

Maybe somebody can offer a link ´cause I still don´t know how to do it.

It's pretty easy...
1.) find any video on YT
2.)start video playing...then pause it
NOTE: if there is a commercial first, wait until it ends, then
...right click and select 'copy video URL'
3.)Now go to Seagal forum to the post you want to put it in...
4.) at the top....select the media icon(it's to the right of the 'smiley' face guy)
looks like film frames.
5.) When the 'media window' opens right click and select 'paste' to put the video URL in/
6.)When you see the Video URL in there...go to bottom and click on 'embed"
7.) Not at bottom of post click on 'post'
8.) click the play button on the video to verify it's the one you wanted to post
PS: If you did anything wrong...you just go to 'edit' in your post to fix it or delete it
J.L.
Give it a shot.....you'll see how easy it is once you do it once or twice :)

Great find there, and good to see Seagal from the Above the Law days. I remember it like it was yesterday when the movie came out.

Great find, Seagal1969! I enjoyed that -- a blast from the past! Imagine...advertising on one of the the biggest billboards in Los Angeles at the time. Not to mention all the pre-release marketing he talked about . I wonder if any of his other movies received that kind of publicity after that. I think I remember seeing smaller billboards for Under Siege, but don't remember others. Warner Brothers sure knew what they were doing when promoting movies. Of course, it helps when a studio has that kind of money to devote to marketing and advertising. LOL

@ J. Lucas: Great step-by-step breakdown of how to post a video! It's been a few years since I've done that and the reminder was helpful. Although I know I'll never beat anyone here to the punch. :D

Agreed, great find! For anyone who doesn't want to have to search through, Steven comes on at 17:36, and goes until 23:00. Easily my favorite quote from the interview is when he talks about the violence in "Above the Law":

"I don't believe in gratuitous violence." (20:05)

I chuckled myself when I heard that -- in that deceptively soft-spoken voice of his. LOL

Thanks for posting the minute markers. The first time I saw it I skipped past everything else until I came to his part, but this second time I just jumped to the numbers. Good idea, Dave!.
