I am with you, TD...Something is off...It could be a mirror site, or whatever they call it...But how could they access the domain name without permission? Far as I know he owns that, maybe along with Mr. Goldfine, I dunno...As far as the age thing, it's been published in encyclopedias and things, so it well could be 1951...I guess if it is legitimate we'll be seeing the whole thing soon...

I signed up in the fan club area, curious about what would come of it, and it occurred to me after I'd done it that there was just enough information they asked for that if this was not a legitimate site, I could be in for an onslaught of spam, or worse, identity theft. I should have used my secondary e-mail address and a pseudonym... stupid, trusting me.

The site name, after the original site went down, expired and anyone - and I do mean anyone - could have bought it. Unless Aikidonna can get in touch with her contacts and they confirm that it is legitimately theirs, I'm going to be very uneasy.

Don't know how long ago that cover was printed; it could have been printed as long ago as when the old site was still up. They might even have had to buy the site back from a squatter.

I don't know - we'll just have to wait and see, I guess. I've been mercifully spam-free since I changed my e-mail address last year after being carpet-bombed by the SWEN virus. If I start getting spam because I gave them my e-mail addy, I'm going to be really, REALLY annoyed.
