Mason please dont take this the wrong way this is not ment as negative criticism, but what you are saying is bollocks. He has just said himself that he will not be it and its over and done with.

Have you seen any official confirmation of him saying it on video or anywhere else ?? No, none of us have. So lets keep an opend mind ok .. That socalled interview in the link above dosnt confirm anything, its not even a 100% reliable source. Tons of those kinds of (false) articles where posted all around the web before the EX 2 script was even finished, and the same thing is happening now with EX 3. So connect the dots Josh.

Read the last question...

I don't know what I should say now.

Sounds like whatever negotiations were happening behind the scenes for him to be in the film have fallen thru. From that interview it also sounds like he is getting a bit pissed off at being asked about it.

Of course it is all still speculation at this time but it is looking increasingly unlikely that Seagal will appear in The Expendables 3.

its east to blame seagal for not being in it but my guess is that he wants to be in it and that avi lerner wont let him..after E2 lerner named all the people he wanted for number 3(eastwood,snipes etc) and he said we will have to see about seagal

at the end of the day the main power behind expenables is lerner not stallone and has lerner tried to sue seagal and failed my guess is that he will not work with him again

Its not bollocks he said only last week he would do it if asked and that he respected the people involved with making the film he also said he loved working with steve austin and would work with him again anytime

IMO i am not that fussed with E3 has if he is in it he will only be in it like chuck norris was and have a 10 minute cameo

id rather he made a film in which he starred in

I'd like to believe you, but since you dont have a link to back up your story I'm gonna have to go with the people who can actualy proove what Seagal said by providing a link.

..... allthough there is one major mistake in this interview which makes it seem fake.

Forces Of Execusion havn't start filming yet, it will start in the beginning of next year. So why do they ask him *how it was woking with Danny Trejo on Forces Of Execusion if they havent started filming yet ?????*
I personaly think this interview is fake, just like i think the previous one is fake two. Alot of people of people dont want Seagal in Expendables 3 and this might be their way to stop it from happening, by spreading rumors which turns out to be fake. Some people just believe everything they read right away instead of thinking it over for a while.

I dont know what to believe anymore. But I'll always wait for official confirmation, that way I dont have to speculate to much :)

The other thing that I got from that interview is that the future of True Justice is far from certain.

I heard a radio interview with seagal a couple of weeks back talking about MC and he said if he was a offered a decent role he would make EX3 so some of these written interviews seem dodgy to me

that said maybe he is just playing his cards close to his chest and maybe saying he dosent want to do it some interviews and maybe they will offer him a better role

Good

Much as i like TJ its being dragged out for to mush and the ending of TJ2 was pathetic

I think a 3rd and last (this should not end like Norris' "Walker, Texas Ranger") season would be good to round things out, and I would be happy with 3 seasons. Not too less and not too much.
But he definitely should make Expendables 3 first! And of course, if he gets the chance to make Under Siege 3 or an other big project, I wouldn't have a problem if they cancel True Justice. But I don't think that will happen.

thats the thing though its takes 5 months to shoot TJ and by the time they have finished post production on it most of the year has gone and he has little time to make a movie

when he was interview the other week he said he had 3-4 films he is close to making other than FOE and they had decent budgets(according to seagal) so maybe he should stop doing TJ and do movies with better co-stars,action,budgets etc

I liked MC it was the kind of STV film seagal should have made 4-5 years ago(ie teaming up with another star)and i like the sound of FOE in that its a story that seagal hasent done before with other actors that are decent(Trejo,Rhames,Silva)

I just read it. I am not surprised...and I am sorry to say this: It's Seagal's fault! And I am not feeling happy as a fan right now. He should not be arrogant towards other action stars and should have put his problems with Avi Lerner aside and do the movie FOR HIS FANS!!!

Shame!

Completely agree with you it is such a missed opportunity but it's Seagal's own fault, I just don't think he cares about his fans at all anymore. I really can't blame Stallone for not wanting Seagal in the film.
