Q&A with Keoni Waxman!

Right now I made a selection and I have 14 questions.
I would like 20 questions.....Any more you guys can think of?
I hope you chose the good questions, not the ones like how many fight scenes, are there car chases blah blah.... I want to get some insight into the film making, the FOE details are inferior and we will know them soon anyway.

I really hope you are aware of this.

1) Given that Seagal is such a skilled martial arts master, is there any chance that future fight scenes, could be shot from a distance, and in less takes? (in order to showcase Seagals 'craft') and also what does he think about the trend in Hollywood, concerning 'quick edits' during fight scenes?

2) If US3 were offered, would he accept it?

3) Could he please explain what power a director has when making a DTV movie (given demands from producers, script changes, etc)

4) Does he interact with Steven, and if so (and with all due respect) could he shed some light upon his persona/attitude on set, that may squash some of the negativity written about Seagal?

5) What future projects does he have in the pipelines as a director?

1. What does he think are the good things in FOE and what could have been better?
2. He has done quite a few projects with Seagal, does working with a single actor for so many projects help to improve quality and speed of a production? Or does he prefer to do projects with different stars everytime? What triggers him the most to obtain the highest quality possible and from which can he grow/learn proffessionally the most?
3. Would he like to do other genres or just specialise in action films?

Still one very important thing:

Are you planning or the studio to create an official website and Facebook and Twitter page for Force of Execution and also for your other films. I believe this, plus more articles online would be much better promotion for your films. Especially now with FOE you should somehow profit from these big names Seagal, Rhames and Trejo. I believe, this could help to sell the movie.

Unless you have already sent the questions, I have one.

As the DVD market is not doing well at the moment, and the budgets of these movies have gone down, what restrictions and problems has that caused you as a filmmaker, such as shorter shooting schedules, only affording to hire name actors for days or a week or two at the most, not having enough time to coreograph big fight sequences etc.?

I am aware of this. Of course I will ask him about the filmmaking itself, but he knows that the questions come from fans and not proffesional interviewers. So I will also ask him about fightscenes and what we can expect from FOE. This wasn't a problem with Lauro Chartrand, Don Fauntleroy and Roel Reine either. They understand that the fans would like to know about that kind of stuff.

I send the questions to Mr. Waxman. I hope I will please everyone here on the board, because I tried to pick at least 1 question from everyone of you.

I could have posted the questions before I send them to Mr Waxman but that will lead to discussions and that kind of stuff. I hope you trust me on this...

A soon as Mr. Waxman answers the questions I will post them in this thread.

Yes, I think Mr. Waxman should also have the chance to promote his film a bit with talking about action scenes etc.

Thank you for your efforts, DiDa. I'm looking forward to read Mr. Waxmans' answers.

Here is a simple one we'd all like to know:

Mr. Waxman, in your honest opinion, do you think Seagal will ever be the main star in a Theatrical release ever again?
