Review: Out For Justice

Undoubtedly the greatest action/unintentional comedy movie since Commando, this is a total masterpiece from start to finish. From the explosive opening, where Seagal (as the ludicrously named Gino Felino) risks an undercover operation to throw a pimp through a car window
(with the AWESOME title page showing over a still of Seagal admiring his handiwork) the movie just gets better & better.
Seagal's accent & attire is absolutely ludicrous, the bad guy is completely insane in every second of screentime (witness the truly awesome scene where he shoots a woman in the forehead in broad daylight because she asks him to move his car...) The dialogue is brilliant, Seagal tells the most awesomely pointless stories, the bar scene is undoubtedly the funniest thing ever ("He ain't nothing without that badge & that gun!") and the climax is amazingly violent (witness Seagal killing a man with a single kick!) A total classic, that rates at least 25 out of 10 on my awesometer.
NOTE: This also should have recieved the academy award for world's biggest subtitles, they're HUGE!

I think OFJ is the best Seagal movie ever, only compared to ATL and HTK. Gino Felino, a policeman, with italian origins (I'm Italian, so the character looks very close to me),master in aikido, strong and extremely pissed off. That's the movie that made me an obsessive Seagal fan.. Also William Forsythe is a very good villain, one of the best I've ever seen. I love the bar scene and the scene in the shop after the chase..

I seen OFJ many times and still think it's hardcore Steven Seagal stuff, lots of blood, gore, violence and obsession to find the bad guy.
the bad guy is terrible, william forsythe playing madness to the hilt.
Steven moves a lot faster and is a lot slimmer so looks more authentic than his recent moves in films where he has stand ins.
good to have this in one's collection as part of a Seagal biography in films.
Love,
