by the way i saw hpd last night and i give it a 6/10.it was a good action film if you like shooting and explosions but if you want to see seagal fight then your better of watching marked for death or nico.seagals fight scenes reminded me of the fight scene seagal had with the russian in glimmer man when he kicks him into the spike....all you could see was seagals hands move fast and his face.seagal was still cool in the film and looked like he could kick the s**t out of anyone and is still 50 times better then vin diesel.there was about 20 people in the cinema when i was there and it holds about 80 so it was only a quarter full.

Hi everyone (it's my first message but I'm a long time reader

I saw Half Past Dead last night too, it was the release date in french theaters.
And I would give it a 6/10 too, maybe more when I see it in english (it was dubbed in french with a different voice than before)
I liked the relationship between Seagal and Ja Rule, I like to see Steven interact with people without kicking their ass
There was a nice amount of action and humor, but too many people shooting with 2 guns. It's a bit ridiculous when even a FBI agent uses two guns.
I was a bit disappointed because I wanted Half Past Dead to be at least as good as Exit Wounds, but it's not.
But way better than "The Foreigner" (I really didn't like that one)
