if indeed lam directs rescue and cory yeun does yakuza then at least seagal is working with the right kind of people who know about fighting/action films,even the director of botb sounds okay but at one time on imdb it said dwight little was doing it and i would have liked that.

I guess as long as Albert Pyunn stays away from future Seagal projects then he and us are safe. LOL

There are a lot of good action directors I would have liked to have seen Seagal work with. At the minute he seems to be working with first time helmers who overuse MTV style editing tricks which really ruin his fight scenes. At least the director of "Exit Wounds" had an understanding of action and did'nt overuse that annoying speed up gimmick which is done to death in "The Foreigner"

Here's a list of directors I'd like to see Seagal work with.

* Tony Scott
* John Woo
* Walter Hill
* Peter Hyams
* John McTiernen
* Philip Noyce
* Paul Verhoevan (Imagine, this could be ultraviolent)
* Roland Emmerich
* Tsui Hark
* Aaron Norris (Chuck's brother)

Ok so I might have been kidding about the last one but most of these directors have an understanding of action and how it works and think a collaboration with any of them would do his career good. If there's any director that he's previously worked with that he should team up with again its probably Andrew Davis. Although that is unlikely considering "Under Siege 3" seems to be permanently stuck in development hell status.

Who else would you like Seagal to work with (director wise)?

1.dwight little(seagals best film marked for death)
2.andrew davis(under siege,fugivite,collatrol damage)
3.brett retner(rush hour,red dragon)
4.chris nahon(kiss of the dragon)
5.chris nolan(insomnia)

i like the people you choose but they are a-list and i don't think they would work with seagal..saying that i dont think nolan or retner would either.
the people who he is working with in rescue,yakuza,belly or good enough for me for now.
