Action star Steven Seagal is not at all impressed by actor-turned-musicians, and says Jeff Glodblum is the only actor who can pull it off.

Seagal started his own music career at the age of five when he learned to play guitar. He is presently touring Britain with his band Thunderbox, reports contactmusic.com. He has watched actors like Juliette Lewis, Bruce Willis and Jared Leto attempt to cross over to music but none have been too successful.

But Seagal thinks he has what it takes. He said: 'I don't consider actors to be real musicians... I'm probably going to get in trouble after saying that. I think Jeff Goldblum is the only good musician. He's a good pianist.'

Oh, dear. He's flying off into fantasy land again. He did NOT start a musical career when he was five years old. He might have started playing an instrument at that age, but the only people I can think of that started a "musical career" at that tender young age are Michael Jackson, assorted Osmonds and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. (To me, and, I suspect, most people, a "musical career" means making money from it. Learning to play an instrument at a young age and then not doing anything about it until you're in your mid-fifties doesn't qualify.)

And yes, he's definitely going to get into trouble for saying that. He's a good musician, was a tolerably good action movie guy in his heyday, but I really wish he'd stop telling such outrageous stories about himself. Then he wonders why the press are so merciless when they report on his doings.

Whats new Steven should be used of stirring up the pot ...plus i think he loves saying these things too to see the reaction from his fans and it works...naughty boy...go stand in the corner..

Other actors speak trash about Seagal out of print, i'd bet on that !
Atleast Steven Seagal has the honesty and courage to speak the truth about other actors out in the open, nothing wrong with that
