Seagal Website-Sad News

Hello all.
Just heard from Wendy(one of Seagal Sensei's people), at Snow Leopard Music. I had asked her about the website again, since it's still gone and a New Year. We have also had some inquiries on the message board from new members about it. This is the reply that I got from her:

"The website will be down indefinitely."

This all she said, no explanation went with it. I have emailed her back, trying to get one for us fans. I will let you know if I hear anything else from her.
At least we will still have Craig's WONDERFUL website here, for all of us fans to get the latest news and updates on Sensei. Craig, we REALLY REALLY appreciate this!!!! THANKS!!!!

However, I for one have no desire for an "official" website, ever! I don't see how anything could top this place. I've looked through the internet. Believe me, we are the biggest, the most organized fan base for Steven, with daily input from the fans. Nothing else compares to this place and never will!

This is not a suprise for me !! I never believe it would be open !! I wrote this at the beginning !! I was not sad !! Because we have a site !!! Also here is much better than Official Site !! Updating oftenly !!!
May be Mr. Seagal is right. He was not able to pay any attention because he is very busy !! I respect !!
We love him with Official Site or without !!

Now there's a surprise!I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a decent explanation either.I never liked the "official" website anyway.May that poor excuse for a website never rest in peace.The people that ran that site never had a clue,and did not care about the fans.Craig's site is(and will always be)the best unofficial site.

I never knew the official site, but from what you have all said it clearly wasn't well run. I am sure Steven, or in his frequent absences, Arrisa, or even his two oldest children would have been aware of this, one way or another it would have filtered through to him, and he probably distanced himself from it. Perhaps he even felt the people running it were doing it to get closer to him, and didn't like it - who knows, this board seems good to me.

Hi Everyone

I personally believe that Steven probably didn't like the shocking language, and aggressive words being written on the site, so he probably thought it best to pull the plug. Remember Steven is a buddhist. I am sure Steven has made the best decision. I recently obtained a Chinese Jacket, for Christmas, exactly like Steven wears, they do look great, go out and get one.

You never know what could happen with him traveling the world so often...This news is a big downer, although I don't know why, really...This site is great, and I am so used to it now...Nash, I want a jacket like that too... I am going to get one, someday soon, although I think I would much rather be in the position to borrow one of Steven's...
I don't think he would mind at all, heeheehee...

Well pur that is a very good idea, but then Steven would have to acknowledge it personally, and I dunno if he ever would...If he lurks here, and I don't know that, either way, then maybe he just might approve...I think it's a nice respectful place, with a great fan base...We can always hope...You know I do...

I know that Seagal's people are aware of this website, at least some of them anyway. I've sent it to Wendy on several occasions, telling her about it and inviting her and all the rest(including Seagal Sensei) to come visit us. Now as to whether any of them have taken me up on the invitation, your guess is as good as mine. I do keep trying to get us noticed by Sensei, or at least the people close to him.

Good work aikidonna.I'll believe it when i see an irrefutable message from Steven,but if he even knows of this place it would be more than we all knew before! Such is the lack of info. on this subject.The old board was a warzone. Looking back,i reckon he will have been mortified to see some of the things put in,so maybe it's better if he didn't.I told MrO i didn't agree with taking Idaho Aikido's pic and doctoring it.That's bang out of order. There has to be a line,even on the wild west net.
Remember when IA offerd us down to his dojo for a beating?(That was funny)

Ya'll be thankful for this site, and commend Craig and the mods for keeping it so well. I'm sure Steven would be pleased if he knew (or already knows) about it.

Its sad to see your hero fall Steven Seagal is my hero i think its a lack of respect to his fans when he does bad movies with Rap stars who cant act the exception exit wounds: and to not explain why his site is down. he needs to take a break from movies and lose the weight and get back on track i know he got his self in a big mess with the mob. anyway i will keep buying and seeing all his movies good and bad.
