Hello;
I've been away for awhile...
I was reading the thread about the 'official' site and how poorly it's done...
if anyone would like to get an idea of what the '1st official site' looked like......alot of the pages have been stored in an archive at.....
http://www.archive.org/
just type in stevenseagal.com up at the top(where it says 'take me back") in the search and a whole list of pages and dates will come up.....I've poked around a bit and I can even get into some of the message boards from those days.....
it's kind of nostalgic in a way.......but seeing some of the old names of members(alot are here) and some of the discussiona at the time are interesting to view.....also the way the list is set up...you can actually view the Seagal site from day 1...all the way thru to the present....you can plainly see where it went off-line...and that'forever 'we are updating' message.....then the emergence of this so-caled new official site.....many of the original graphics are there....if you have some patience(not all the page links work) and spend some time clicking on the various pages you may be surprised at what you find......there must be at least 5 or 6 different opening pages to the original site ...even an opening page that was posted before it opened......there's many images that I've never seen before.....parts of the store is available.....all kinds of things if you poke around long enough....
NOTE: if one particular page says"page not found'...just click on the next one...I found that many are there but not every page listed has a good link....
Glad to pop in here for a bit
John
Of this info has been posted I will delete this thread........
I came across this stuff after reading about on-line archives of web sites....actually I was looking for the original Tenshin Bugei Gakuen site...I wanted to see if that was archived...but I haven't the slightest idea what the web address was.
