STALLONE calling SEAGAL ..

Face it Seagal will not be in EX3.

Why? Do you have a source? We don't know if he will be in it or not. The negotiations are still going. Sly offered Seagal a role and he will do it if the part fits. So Stallone is writing the characters right now...then he will show Seagal the character he has to play. Then Seagal will say NO or YES....

We should hear soon what his answer is.

OR Stallone already wrote role for Seagal couple months ago when Sly said "No, Steven S. Sorry..) Seagal said "NO" back then and Sly thought he will rewrite Seagal's role so now I'll hope Seagal will accept this one. I think first Sly wanted Steven to be villain in EX3 but he didn't accept it and now he is a good guy..one of The Expendables. :)

I'm preparing myself for not being a Seagal fan any longer if he turns down Sly again which he probably will now. Lets face it Seagal is way to demanding and will definitely demand a lot of screentime, and he wont get it because all the other stars have to have screentime to. And since the cast seems to have a lot of more stars than in Ex 1 and Ex 2, then he will not be able to have the screentime it requires for him to accept the part. He is way to demanding to be in a movie like The Expendables 3 and Sly shouldn't waste anymore time on him if he turns him down again.

I think that's what she is saying. But it doesn't matter what any of us want, if he likes the part Sly writes to him he takes it, and if he doesn't he doesn't and we can all move on again.

If he doesn't he stays a fat bloated pig and he can go back to McDonalds for his monthly eating contest, at least there he holds his title as Fatty McButter Pants.

why is anyone surprised? If he takes ti that's great. If nto we'll all be pissed off. But not surprised surely? Seagal has ALWAYS doe his own thign and not gave a fuck what anyone wanted from him. That's just his way.

I'd like to see Seagal in EX3 (and I'm a huge Stallone fan) But I won't lose sleep if he doesn't feature in it.
The Expendable movies are good (but not great) I much prefer Sly (and the other cast) doing their own 'solo' stuff (Bullet To The Head' was awesome.....but no-one went to see it)
EX2 under-performed at the box-office. And as good as it was to see Van Damme back on the big screen....it's not exactly put JCVD back on the map, has it? The problem being that (apart from Sly, and maybe Statham?) there's 'too-little' to spread amongst the other expendables...Randy Couture must have around 3 or 4 lines of dialogue, likewise with Terry Crews (I think Jet Li realised this, and took a back-seat in EX2) Personally, I think the Expendables should only star the older (school) actors like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Seagal, Willis, Norris, etc (and dump Statham, Couture, Crews, etc)

And the only worrying problem with these 'Ensemble' movies, is that they damage the chance for any solo movies (look at the box-office for 'The Last Stand' & 'Bullet To The Head' as an example) Now you can blame lousy marketing/popularity/trends/downloads/etc to a certain extent, but logic dictates that there's little reason to see (or rent) a solo project from one of the Expendables cast....when you can get a dozen for the price of one (come the next Expendable movie)
Even the DTV market is pairing up it's stars at the moment. So it's obvious that the Expendable franchise (however fun) have set a trend, in which one big star will no longer sell a cinema OR a dvd release anymore?

So as much as I'd like to see Seagal act with Sly (on the big screen) above and beyond the one movie, it'll do little for further their careers at this point.
