Steven Seagal A&E Biography!

This must be my lucky day, I have not had time to visit this website for more
than a few minutes since my surgery on Dec. 5th. I am fine, just have very, very,
very much work, and of course getting ready for Christmas. Had a houseful on
Sunday since part of my family will be gone over Christmas. Am having the others to
my house before Church on Christmas Eve, don't know when this old woman will
slow down, but now for my good luck I do have the A&E Channel, so I can see Steven
tonight makes all my work worth while I will try to tape in case someone else
needs a copy but have been having problems with my VCR,actually at least I will
have it to look at over & over again on my pvr. In case I get busy again wishing

I thought it was excellent. It covered a lot of his life in the short time it was on, of course talking about his martial arts and spiritual beliefs, but didn't speak much of his personal life at all. Just very briefly mentioned his first wife, then Kelly, then Arissa. It showed his generous work with children's charities and mentioned how he has given away millions of dollars through the years, yet most of it done quietly, not looking for publicity. He also discussed his life-long love of music, and there were several remarks from B.B. King, who spoke very highly of Steven. It also showed bits from the music video "Girl It's Alright". Much of it focused on his upcoming movie, "Into the Sun", with lots of behind the scenes clips. The show was in no way negative and painted a picture of the gentle giant that he is. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope all of you who are able to see it do also.

It was a good program and it was positive. I especially liked the part where Take Sensei and Isoyama Shihan were in the car talking about the "old" days!!!! A very good program!!!
This was nicely done.
I was very glad I could catch it, but taped it just in case I'd get called to my clinic. I thought it was good and for once they didn't do a lot of criticism as previous shows have done. Ithought previous shows were ubfair and not very accurate although I don't really know that much about Mr. Seagal's life.
I liked thar they told about his work with the childen with AIDS. I don't know if many people knew how much money and effort he has given to sick children because he keeps very quiet about it. I do know scolds health care people who tell about this side of his work.

Is it going to be available on DVD??? I looked and thought it was only going out on VHS!!!! If it is on DVD I am going to get it right away as well!!!!

I thought it was great. I got home in time to watch it. They did mention that his CD will be avalible in the U.S. after Europe gets it. I am so happy about that.
Steven looks good in the movie In To The Sun.
It also looks like he did have a great time doing his commercial.
I always knew that he had a big heart. Everything that he does for the kids, and it also makes him feel good.

I was very impressed, so glad it was not negative! I do see him more as a person and not just an action star. He looked like he really was having a good time. JA Rule said he has a great sense of humor a must in a man!!

Great documentary!
I don't know where else you would've seen Seagal and Isoyama together like that! Into The Sun looks like it'll be a very enjoyable film (seeing as it's Seagal coming back to his 'home' land and all). They've also mentioned that he's worked on two more movies after ITS (I'm guessing it's the other two that are mentioned all over this forum).
I think the episode is not available on DVD yet because the documentary was just released and the response to the show could not be predicted so they for now just offer the VHS version. I do think however, that in time the DVD version will be offered (for one, because VHS is more or less an obsolete technology).
All in all, I was very impressed with the way the documentary was put together. However, as a documentary, it focused more on Seagal's recent and ongoing work, as opposed to Seagal's encompassing history (as is the whole point to a documentary). Nevertheless, mystery is the whole point to life, and it wouldn't be fun otherwise. So, I guess we are better off not be told everything explicitly as we may think we want to hear and know.

On the same tape as the E! True Hollywood Story show. And you're right. Their website is only mentioning the VHS version, due out on February 3, but that may change between now and then.
