Steven Seagal and james Coburn on Merv Griffin(Aikido Demonstation)

I just discovered a rare Steven Seagal Aikido demonstation on the Merv Griffin´s talkshow. James Coburn brought Steven Seagal to the show.
I think that was shortly before or behind his film debut in "Above the Law" because he had very thin hair.
But take a look by yourself.

Go to www.youtube.com
Then write Steven Seagal on Merv Griffin .
Then the video comes. It goes 7:48 minutes.
At the end even James Coburn appears.
The video is unbelievable.

At the end talk show host Merv Griffin said: James Coburn brought us another winner....
So I think it was before Steven Seagal made "Above the Law"!

nice video indeed. he should show more of that stuff in his movies. for example how to avoid knife attacks..

Well, I know I used to be more easy-going than I am now... life has a way of making you sadder and more cynical as well as wiser.

But what an amazing video! I loved that energy demonstration. Apparently Steven really does have more energy and talent in his little finger than most of us have in our whole bodies...

I doubt there's anything Steven does not know about self defence. When he was visiting the UK last year, he appeared on the Friday night Project, a kind of light entertainment show. He said then, that he could kill a man with one finger. Now tht I've seen the video, I understand how he could do this. He is so good, and makes it look so easy! Funny enough Steven does have a great sense of humour. He demonstrated that on the show when he was here. I guess he needs to look menacing and dour playing the type of roles he does. I just love this guy.

I think I saw this posted somewhere else here several months ago... maybe it was just a link to the youtube video.Really nice video. What happened to that man, that personality from so long ago. Now he is so serious and dour looking most of the time. In this video he is full of himself, full of fun, and energy, and smiles... Twenty- seven years is a LONG time. Guess that is why he looks so young - I know I looked a lot younger 27 years ago.- This makes him about thirty years old in this video. Ah to be 30 again and know what I know now!
