steven's autograph!

My friend owns a beer company here in Memphis that is being featured in Kill Switch, and he's been in contact with the Prop Master for many of Steven's movies a lot lately. The Prop Master just sent him an autographed photo of Steven and he gave it to me!

Just thought you guys should know, that he has a terrible signature haha

Ask your friend if he knows James & Louise Burton of Shreveport LA, and his Mom-L. Burton & his past away (In-Heaven-With-GOD) Dad-G. Burton.....? Also ask him if he knows Jim Pierce of Robin Rounder Records, in H......Tennessee. He & his wife from Germany, are very nice- and are family frineds. James played lead guitar for Emmy Lou Harris, John Denver, for Elvis Presley the longest and has played with others. He has his own signature guitar, called the Pasley Guitar, that is so fine. Just incase you don't know who he is. James Taught himself to play guitar and has his own style of playing, called Chicken Pickin....Ever heard of him?

Sorry but can't say too much specific Info. on this public forum, about personal family info. but hopeful I gave you enough for you to ask your friend and prove who I say I am, with the initials....I'm sure you understand why. James is my cousin and Steven Played at his International Guitar Festival last year; James said Steven will not be there this year. I live down in South Louisiana, but most all my family lives up in North LA....Hope you have a blessed day.

i'm not sure what your post means, and who i'm suppose to ask? how and why would my friend know people in louisiana if he lives in memphis? i'm not saying i don't believe you, but i'm not quite sure why i would ask him if he knew them?

also, i am familiar with "chicken picking" because i am a guitar player myself. its basically like playing slap bass on a guitar, but that is very cool that he played with so many famous musicians.

Hi Memphis Blues! You said you had a friend who owns a business in Memphis and knows Steven. The reason I asked you if you would ask your friend if he knows James is because Most people in Memphis TN, know my cousin James.

Also do you know Alison Krauss, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Charlie Daniels, June Carter Cash, etc....? They are also friends of our famiy....My COX FAMILY plays professional Bluegrass/Gospel Music....

That's cool that you can play guitar. I have a Honoher HW 220 Acustic Guitar. Mine has my gold name plate on it, with an eagle in flight. When I have a chance, I will pick back up on taking guitar lessons, but not right now because I have too much else going on; things that are my main priorities.... I also have a violen and a tambarine. The only thing I can play by ear to some songs, is my tambarine. I have also written some songs and many poems, etc.... Do you write your own songs?

I know; But June Carter Cash was still a friend of my family, When She Was Alive. My family plays professional Blue Grass/Gospel music. I never met her but they have. The only professional musician I Have Met In Person, at their House In Cotton Valley Louisiana, is Alison Krauss. It was during the Thanksgiving Holidays, one year, because she is like a member of the family! So is her little boy who isn't all that little any more....I really need to work on my communication skills. Sorry about the misunderstand or miscommunication!

I think you misunderstood me. My friend does not know Steven personally. He knows the Prop Master for many of his movies. However Steven does live about 2 miles from us in Memphis. My friend has only been in Memphis for about 10 years, and I'm pretty sure he does not personally know anyone you have named. I'll be honest, I had never heard of James Burton until you mentioned him, and I can't remember many other people here mentioning him either.

I have eight guitars and a mandolin. I do write my own songs, can read music, tablature, and play by ear. Its good to meet a fellow musician.

I got mine on a card after seeing him live in the Uk, I met him afterwards, shook his hand, he asked me if I enjoyed the show (I cant rememebr what the hell I said back) and he signed it "To Geoff, Steven Seagal" its treaured in my hall at home, I mounted it under the two tickets (I saw him twice whilst he was here) and b & w pic from ATL.
