I am going to be traveling for the 1st time to England this yr and have a couple of questions that the UK residents here may be able to answer, namely:
1 - I am thinking of opening a bank acct prior to me traveling so that I may access it while there, for a number of reasons. I have tried to find out how to go about it on line with a couple of British banks but can't seem to find what I am looking for.... Any suggestions ??
2 - I want to visit the Prime Ministers questions, but as a foreigner I am unable to be granted access until AFTER the questions have been completed. However, British citizens are granted access & can request tickets. Am I able to attend as a guest of a Brit ? If they get tix, can I go along as their guest, even though I am a foreigner ?
3 - Besides hotel & air costs, and possibly a rental car, how much spending $$ would be enough ?? (I.E., for food, tourist stuff, etc...).
