Well I might comment on this that for example when a new movie of his is released that one of his personal may be interested to read what his fans are thinking about the movie. If it ain't for the fans renting/buying the movies,he ain't going to have anyone paying him a dime to make any! In time that will catch up with him or anyone that doesn't acknowledge his fans.
Good post Amos.Just one authentic message would SEND a message.

Yikes! I guess I been told...

-TD slinks away, never to be seen again... then changes her mind and slinks back....

There are different kinds of support. I'm afraid I can't offer the unconditional, "I'll ignore it if it's bad" starry-eyed, rosy-coloured glasses, "Steven can do no wrong" kind of support. It ain't in me to go against my nature, which is to be honest and forthright, even when in the throes of star attraction. Maybe it's because I'm always striving to do better, that I do not see anything good about resting on one's laurels. I believe that there is no such thing as reaching "the top", because there is no "top", except for the one that a person creates. And what that is, is placing limits on oneself.

I'm sorry, Mama San; I respect you and love you dearly; however, I am getting the distinct impression that this board is now only for those people who offer unequivocal praise of all things that are Steven, and that critical debate about Steven's films is something that is no longer welcome here (I'm not talking about the "Steven is a hack" type of commentary, which I, too, find unacceptable. I'm talking about honest critical review of both the pros and the cons of his work.). If that is the case, please tell me, and I will depart; with sincere regret, since I do enjoy exchanging dialogue with everyone here.

I certainly do not want to linger where I am not welcome.

-TD, hoping she doesn't have to go because she's got all of Steven's films on DVD as well as the PBT tape, and wants to have somewhere reasonably civilised to go to talk about her favourite subject
Just caught up with this. May i say TD's posts are never less than objective, like mine in fact! You will always be welcome here. Like Mike,i too am a big fan and disciple and all the others. As i recall it was Craig who created this place. Didn't the admin come later? When i joined the official one was still going strong and this place was incredibly quiet. It was basically a refuge from the trolls and insults of the official forum. Now it is the mainstay of his most loyal fanbase, but along with praise we have to be allowed to be objective. If i wasn't a Seagal fan,i'd have passed up just about all since Exit Wounds. There aren't enough of us to pay steven's wages,so he must have a big fanbase. I hope he makes movies for a good few years yet..

"Lookin fit Nelson"
I brought this up a few months ago, and I couldn't agree with you anymore. I think everyone wants to see the asskicking Steven Seagal, im so tired of the characters he's been playing that can defy gravity, save the environment(by killing big business men or dumb backyard folks and can heal you with powdered deer penis{cmon now}), where the hell is Nico Toscani? Or John Hatcher...Does Mason Storm ring a bell?...Oh yeah those were the coolest, toughest and most asskicking guys on screen...If Seagal broke all the rules got back to what he is known for, lose the weight, get back that take no shit attitude, buy a pair of blue jeans and a leather jacket and go kick some ass Marked For Death Style I think he'd be alot better off and Id love to watch him again, I haven't even seen BOTB, but I cant stand hong kong bs all this flying around i can't believe some people would rather see all that bs, then some real brutal looking aikido techniques, Seagal looks very tired right now, if he did the right things to get back he would look alot better off and on screen... But yeah Disciple you hit the nail on the head...Later ::gun::

Sticking to the subject matter ,I would have to say that that is totally up to him. What he chooses to do with his life is his choice to make not ours . The choices he makes have nothing to do with us .As long as he is making movies .I will watch them . When he stops I will not be able to watch them anymore and that is simple as it gets . Just keeping it real !
