What's it take to be a Steven Seagal fan?

Well to begin with, I'd start off with, a Steven Seagal fan wouldn't thread nor post anything negative about Steven Seagal, if one truly loved everything Steven Seagal does in film and in reality

Any other observations from my comrade USSF(Unofficial Steven Seagal Forums) members and Steven Seagal Fans?

Being a fan of Seagal or anyone else for that matter does not mean you have to support anything and everything they do regardless. By discussing the negative aspects you can encourage improvement for the future. It is a real shame you can't understand this Donald Lee Wilkey, and follow Seagal blindly like a very lost sheep.

Don't get upset now Donald Lee Wilkey. My eyes are open unlike some people round here. I have never said I accept the rumors and allegations as truth, and I have always said that Seagal is innocent until proven guilty.

I think steven should for sure do another movie like that after all this sh*t blows over. Its weird though, he doesn't really like talking about c*ckpuncher in any interviews. It seems he just prefers to talk about his music. I think he gets shy lol

I know, it'd be great to see another one like that for sure! Haha, the C-PUNCHER! I am watching Merc For Justice right now for the 1st time, I like it so far......

I watched alot of them online for free. I think the site was called Letmewatchthis.com, Dangerous Man was one of his better movies I think ;-) I also watched Urban Justice recently. Which one is ur fav?

ORANGATUANG

Wildfire
I thinks all his movies rocked except for an couple but hey cant expect miracles one of the one i think i can call an favourite is 'Fire Down Below' i just wish when all this stuff is just water under the bridge and he gets back to making his movies he wears some of his far out clothing so miss that buggar what his ward robe tells him to wear Steven you TELL them i will wear what i god dam please if you got an problem with that talk to ORANGATUANG..lol..she has stood by me through thick and thin the least i can do is do some thing for her ..

My favorite I'd have to say is still Marked For Death - but for the DTV one, I'd say that I really like Driven To Kill....kind of reminded me of his rougher days, haha. Urban Justice was great too!

What does it take to be a fan of Steven Seagal? I've been a fan of his for some time now and like anyone or anything I am a fan of, I'll applaud him when he's done work that deserves it and I'll be critical of him when he's done something I think isn't worthy of his talents. I can't put a positive spin on movies like Attack Force and Kill Switch when they are so poor and I won't hold back in pointing out the flaws in his lesser efforts. Doing that doesn't mean I am any less a fan. It's how those views are expressed that matters.

As the families say on the "Family Fued" tv show, good answer, good answer !
I've never been a fan of positive criticism, Maybe you can help me? But I just don't agree/nor understand pointing out character flaws in another's personal or professional life? How do we know for the track record of Steven Seagal on what he's up to snuff with, and what he ain't ? "Just let the man be and give him thumbs up no matter what", I say

But I'm just a poor old working cow hand, and what do I know?

Hi Donald. I guess it's like anything in life...if someone you care about is making bad choices, do you just keep encouraging them for the sake of being positive or do you point out constructively that you think they might be indulging in unhealthy behaviour? With a film, if you find it disappointing and you know the actor/director/writer etc can do much better, you can express your thoughts about it because you want to urge that person on to do the best work that they can and not say 'well done!' if you know that it's not true. If I praised a film like Kill Switch just for the sake of being positive then that would be dishonest and it's encouraging mediocrity in Steven Seagal and those he chooses to work with. I would rather praise something that's praiseworthy (like Urban Justice and Pistol Whipped) and hope that it encourages Steven (if he even cares what critics think) to do better work. I hope that makes sense.

specifically speaking in any words you care to choose from, what pleases and displeases you from Steven Seagal performances on the big or small screens from past to present?
