Your Vacation?

Since summer is here for most of us--sorry Heather, Gunslinger, Jace and the rest --I've been reading in scattered posts that a few people have a vacation coming up.

I usually take mine in the fall, but couldn't go the last two years. So I'm really overdue. I'm looking at a few options right now, but a cruise is a possibility.

What about you guys? What plans do you have coming up?
Family vacation with the kids?
Vacation AWAY from the kids?

That's why I work a full time job and a part-time one--and don't have any kids!
I love my traveling too much.

I would like to go to an amusement park!! I really love them!!
Most likely Busch Gardens in VA!! They also have a water park and you can get two, three or four day pass's and go to the waterpark during the day and go ride the roller coaster's at night!!

But I also like Atlanta, there you can do a water park, Six Flags and catch a Brave's game!! I would like to see John Smoltz pitch again!! He is from Warren, MI!

We are going on a once in a life time trip(for my cubs anyway because my hubby and I went there for our honeymoon eighteen years ago in August) The end of July we are taking my litter of cubs to Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon, and Mount Rushmore. All of us haven't seen the Grand Canyon yet. Hey Amos...want some visitors?

In 2 weeks we are going to Mississippi
to the casinos. The fitness company
my husband works for, are taking
their employees and spouses with $200
to spend per couple!

I have been to the casinos in Biloxi, on the water!! It was wonderful!!

Well, that IS what aunts are for, apparently!

I don't think you'd like a cruise, Amos. All that food everywhere, unlimited, any time, day or night, 24/7, at no additional cost, all included in the price of the trip, including room service.

Oh, sorry. That was just plain mean, eh?

I've been to both parks, Lollipop, but it's been years! I'm sure there have been many changes in all that time. Not like I could ride most of the rides, though. I bet that motion sickness hasn't changed.

That sounds absolutely wonderful, Jules! That really is a trip of a lifetime. I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time. Bring lots to do while driving, though!

woawwww, what a trip jules. Sounds great. I've never seen the Grand canyon or the mount Rushmore but i'd like. Maybe one day if i go to the states for hollyday.

i love amusement parks but the problem is that most of the time it's overcrowded and you have to wait 2 hours in the queues!!!
there's a six flag in Belgium which is the biggest amusement park here.
i've been to disney worl california 10 years ago. That's huge!!!!
i also like parc as sea worl in Sn diego. that's wonderful and so peaceful with allthose sea animal....
i like natural parks where you can sit, rest and enjoy the nature

I've seen a few specials on TV for Branson, Kat. Some people think it's just a spot for old folks, but from what I've seen on TV, it looks like a blast!

And did I hear casinos??? I LOVE the slots!
$200? That's quite generous of them!
That would last me about 15 minutes, I think.

Oh, that week in the bush with your friends! THAT'S what got canceled because of the weather? That is a shame, Heather! I sure hope you get another chance before winter really sets in!
