    Today You Die - Reviews

TODAY YOU DIE How to begin? The fight scenes were ok. Some were done in a dark room and with our view of Harlan being mostly from behind. I'm wondering if they don't have the budget to insure Seagal for his own fight scenes. Still, they get the job done, even if less spectacular than...

Movies Today You Die - Released 13th September 2005

Man, I am really out of it. :D I wait for Seagal's films to come out, but lately I've been distracted. I was shocked to see Today You Die on the shelves at Blockbuster. Well, the labels for it anyway. The copies were rented out.

    Out of Reach US Rating

I'm not really sure what to think about the running time. Granted it will probably be more action and less possibility of crap, but it also hacks down time for story and character development. As to the violence and such, I think I'd like to see Steven do more martial arts than firearms...

    Review: Exit Wounds

Exit Wounds is a terrific film. The cast was well chosen for their respective parts and all played very well. The action was intense and there was some humor thrown in there. It was also interesting to see a blend of Steven's realistic style with the more Hong Kong wire-work style.

    Still our Man

I think the issue is simply that the bulk of the movie going crowd these days is young people. Young people want to see Brad Pitt or Matt Damon or Eliza Dushku, etc., etc. A lot of them just think actors like Clint and Steven are just 'old guys'. I like Seagal because, unlike Affleck and...

Movies The Foreigner DVD - A Success!

I don't recall hearing much about Belly of the Beast, Out for a Kill or The Foreigner as far as commercials and such go. At least not here in the US. I usually keep an eye out for his films via imdb or action kings. I liked The Foreigner because it felt kind of cold and moody. I just went...

    Aikido or karate?

I have pondered taking up a martial art. A couple, actually, as cross-training is essential these days with martial arts being popular and widespread. I'd like to take up Western boxing, just need to find a place that teaches it. Around here it almost seems to be extinct. There is an Aikido...

    Hello everyone. :)

Greetings, my name is ExitWounds which happens to be my favorite Steven Seagal film. My second favorite would probably be Under Siege 2, for anyone who is curious. :D This would actually be my third post here, but I figured it best to properly introduce myself. Beyond that, I just want to...

Seagal Mountain dew ad -Full version.

I caught the commercial on television and almost ignored it. I *just* turned away when it struck me that I had seen Seagal walk in through the door. Needless to say, I loved the commercial. That 'Yeah, I can't believe it's me either.' line cracked me up. BTW, hello everyone. My first post here.
