Have you ever seen Abe Sensei's aikido? It is VERY different from what Seagal would have taught Matsuoka Sensei. Abe Sensei's aikido is very Kokyu-based and VERY soft. My personal opinion is it is NOT as practical as Seagal's form of aikido.
