Well that news article was from last year......and the site really doesn't have anything.....but after reading it.......I'm wondering if Seagal was going to go the way of internet distribution of his music....instead of in-store CD's........like that album "Guitar Zeus" that was only available thru the internet..Seagal was in the studio one day when they were finishing it up. and he laid down some guitar solo(he's the 3rd in the line up) for a song called "GZ Blues"...last track on GZ2(there were 2 albumns.....I've been looking for it.....wanted to hear what Seagal played as a blues lead...Turboman has it listed as a download but the link is dead)......if you run a search for Guitar Zeus....you'll find info about it....
or go to the bottom here to read about Seagal track it....

Oh yeah.....that link is 'dead'......it's been like that for a long time...ever since I found the page I've never seen it avaialable.....the file is just not there anymore.....
I've done searches on Winmx and have found many of the songs from 'Guitar Zeus'......but not the Duncan/Seagal one tho'...
as I said Turboman has it still listed for download on his site....but it's a dead link also....that's one thing about making a web-site...you need to do maintinence every once in a while to check links...besides just doing updates....but I have a program or two that runs a check on the links to verify these things....
John

Oh if you find someone that has the "GZ Blues' for download....let me know..I'd like to hear it myself.......I've done searches for GZ Blues,etc.....still haven't found an active download link yet....

Yeah well..appartently it's another 'dead end'...here's the response I got back from MPEG Supersite...when I wrote asking if they are still affiliated with Steven Seagal........asked him about the article(above)

I believe that is news from years ago.
I and 3 others began MPSS in 1999 during the Internet Boom.
I had to divest when I joined MP3.com. Then the remaining MPSS founders shorted the stock, cashed in, and the business soon failed.

I got my domain name back as soon as it was available. It's present incarnation has no relationship with the original Internet Media Portal, MPEG Supersite.

Thanks for reminding me of what once was!
