The sometimes-paunchy aikido master had forgotten to renew his license, but cops were already scrutinizing the permit after the action actor testified at the Peter Gotti trial that he "always" packs heat in New York City. He neither lives nor does business here, so that's a no-no.

Seagal's gun permit, obtained by the Daily News' John Marzulli, listed a Staten Island home address. NYPD Capt. James Klein said that if Seagal ever reapplies for a permit, the alleged false statement on his old application "would be subject to investigation.""

Failed to renew his license? With everything that has been
happening, that doesn't surprise me. That could happen to
anyone.
It is my understanding that Steven maintaines a "home"
in New York as well as several other cities for several years. So I don't see where the so-called problem is!

Actually, Mandy, no, they don't! They are very aware that
Steven never "answers" the fantacies they come up with!
If he did try to "defend" himself against the accusations that
they have concocted, it would just add fuel to those fantacies!
Steven is a very wise man! He doesn't lower himself to their
level and that really irks them. They are so use to taking 10%
truth and adding 90% of what ever crawls across their seedy
little minds. Sad, indeed, to see what the 4th estate has been
reduced to.
Steven said one time, that to argue with these "people" was
a total waste of time and solves absolutely nothing!
