First off....
STEVEN SEAGAL getting killed of in EXECUTIVE DESCISION was a good move, as it totally rewritten what the audience was expecting from that movie. Had it not have happened, why not call it UNDER SIEGE 3?
Secondly....
Ironically, by dying, SEAGAL gave one of his more lively performances, going beyond his more (usual) avenging death of his wife/brother/kids scenario, it also proved he was big enough to hand the reigns over to someone else (notice how relaxed and naturally funny SEAGAL is in MY GIANT, also)
And finally....
EXECUTIVE DESCISION is a fine, fine movie (with or without SEAGAL) oh yeah, and KURT RUSSEL is one of the most under-rated actor of his time. Have any of you guys seen ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK/ THE THING/ BREAKDOWN/ DARK BLUE......and by the way, RUSSEL was a action star, when SEAGAL wasn't even in the business!
