Too Precious To Waste

Too Precious To Waste

Who Can say if I am a slow learner, that my life has no value? Who can say if I am mentally challenged-"retarded",physically challenged-"disabled or handicap", or learning challenged, or of a different religion-color-culture,that my life has no meaning or importance? Who can determine this?

Why are there so many negative judgements towards those who are differnent? Each life is precious and special with no room to be devalued because of the much-prevalent-divisible prejudice.

Why can't we love each other for who we are and encourage each other, in the special gifts that we each possess? If given half a chance, we could all make something of our life, for our intended purpose in life. Then, just maybe there would not be so much crime, poverty, war, destruction and selfishness.
What does being prejudice accomplish? What does fighting wars accomplish? What does negative criticism accomplish? It only leads to one thing; mental & physical death and destruction.

Just maybe with the recognition of each others tallents and gifts, we can look past the skin color, statis in life, religious differences, learning-mental-physical challenges, and cultural differences. If we look close enough, we each have something preciouse to offer in life, and life is just too precious to waste.

For once, can we put aside our differences and work towards peace? For once, can we put aside our anger and hatred, to love and accept each other for who we are? For once, can we help encourage each other instead of tearing each other down? I believe it is possible. Do you?

What has happened to our once, strong moral values and humanity? If we all work towards it, I believe we can raise the standards again. Our lives are truly just too precious to waste.
