This is a very insightful article about how movies are sold and Cannes. I really recommend reading it because it could answer some questions that poster raises.
Greetings.
I also like the goatee!
Also I quite like to see from time to time a Waxman-Seagal team up. For me it's the equivalent of comfort food. Also I have fun guessing where they used body doubles or how they are passing Romania for being another location. So I don't kwow the news of anothe project got...
I don't know about London but here in Madrid the CEX stores have tons of second hand DVDs at really good prices, I believe there are some CEX over there.
If I remember well Daniel Zirilli made an account here to talk about The asian connection, maybe we could contact him. I imagine he'll be pleased to answer our questions.
I LOVED the interview, Mathias seems like a heck of a guy and is always great to get a bit of an insight of a smaller production like this that doesn't have that much press.
I actually feel like the perfect weapon gets bashed a bit too much, I liked it. Steven isn't much in it but it has interesting elements, it deviates from the typical Seagal movie.
Being an indie film let's hope they give Steve a different role aside from the typical tough guy, even tough, for sure, it will be the same as always. Just brainstorming here.
Looks like Steven gets more attention in Russia than in the US, maybe he will participate in a Russian production. Perhaps like Antonio Banderas in Beyond the Edge, a big name to give a movie more cache.
I'm also from Spain and can't wait for this bluray to release. Maybe they just got confused between deutsch which means german in german and dutch, in that case that wouldn't be very professional.
