EXTREME LIMITS - Rumor?

In the February 28, 2003 issue of Star Magazine (actually a "tabloid") there appeared a small item referring to JC, Steven Seagal and "two agent" being seen together at the Sunset Room in Hollywood.A short time later I found a French fan site claiming that EXTREME LIMITS will be a joint project of JC and Steven.

here is what it says:"FBI agent John Dragon (Seagal), former samurai teams up, with Luke Sands (Van Damme), expert in martial arts, join forces to catch the most dangerous criminal of all times, known as The Claw of the Tiger (Jason Scott Lee), who with his group of disciples try to conquer the world."

Here's the link to the page: http://membres.lycos.fr/christophepons/violent.htm

HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS? Does this have any basis in fact, or is it some fans total fantasy?

fake! no doubt

It's probably just a rumour. Take a look at the poster. The names don't match the faces. Seagal's name is under JC and JC's name is under Seagal's face.
Extreme Limits - violent forces; what a name, come on be real

Seagal and Van Damme

I've heard of it before and I've seen that phoney poster before with both of them on it, it would be a superb film with both of them in it but I severely doubt it's based on anything except rumour to be honest. Who knows maybe Ringo Lam could get them together one day. As for the names they mis-match the names under the faces on a lot of films, it's usually when two stars are about as famous as each other and they don't want the one on the left to dominate the poster too much as that's the first place everyone looks. I would love Seagal and Van Damme to do a collaboration, if it ever did happen I'd want it to be a real bone-cruncher to do it justice!

I think it's just a fans idea...
Not that bad of an idea, I guess...
But I don't think VD and SS will work, together...
Never know, though...
Steven is not in VD's category...
I was looking at DVD's in walmart and VD's Derailed is selling for rock bottom...
It was in the $5.00 bin, whereas OFAK is still selling for top prices on the shelf...
I don't think you'll ever see Steven's movies in that category...
Steven as John Dragon?
That is an interesting name...

It is indeed just a joke!:DLOL.The guy who ran that site used to do joke posters all the time, inc the US3 one with Samauel L. Jackson.

Well, it's not a bad poster, except the names are reversed...

I couldn't make one, so I'm not critical...

The director would have to be a great genius to deal with two big egos, like the Lakers coach Phil Jackson maybe...
Otherwise, they would have to fight the same fights, kill the same number of bad guys, and the final battle ?? they would have to have two main bad guys to split...
If they don't do this, could be trouble...
