The yahoo store on the SS site still seems to be working,
I wonder if I should try ordering a copy from there?
Do you all think I would get it?
If not I could demand my money back, and demand to talk
to Steven Seagal himself, just to find out where the heck it
is and all...;)
Either way I might come out good, you think? :D
But seriously, did any of you get yours this way?

Hi lotus,
I got my copy from the official site, which was the yahoo store anyway I think, only took two weeks to arrive, but cost me about $180 all up due to the exchange rate at the time :mad2: but it is pretty cool to know I have an original copy  which is stored very delicately
I've got a number of tapes to put to DVD, so maybe I'll throw this in too ;)

I can tell you for a fact that none of the videos I ever made for on-line purpose are MPEG...way too large and they don't strem...you have to completey download them to your PC before viewing them...
Make sure you settings allow Real Player to play MPEG.
once you have a MPEG on your computer...clicking on the file itself should open the appropriate player to begin viewing it.
John
PS: you aren't disturbing me..lol

Thank you very much for your reply John !!:)
BTW I learned I can not watch VCD from my TV.
Because our system is not read from NTSC to VCD.
this is bad for me because I want to see PBT from big screen !!

Anything can be converted to any other format....
probably have to use a PC to do it...
what to do have hooked up to your TV???
a VCR
a DVD player
a DVD/VCD/CD player?
just costs money.....even a NTSC video tape of PBT can easily be converted to a PAL video tape........all I was saying earliar is that a 'commercial' lab here (US) would not touch it.....but there are people that will do it...heck PBT doesn't even have a copyguard on the tape to have to 'get around'...I know some of Eastern Europe uses a rare format called SEACAM..but for the most part the only seperation between videos is NTSC/PAL...now if Connie is to make a DVD from her DVD .....I'm almost positive it would be 'all region'...so it should play in any DVD player anywhere(provided the DVD player can read DVD-R's)

I Belong To Steven
But the point is, that Steven
does not get any money from
these illigitamate copies...
That isn't so fair to him, is it?
I personally would rather have an
original Vhs, with the awesome cover,
even though I want to see NOW, and
see it REALLY REALLY bad...
I do understand how rare it is though,
and that our foreign friends want to see
it too...
Ah, well...
Maybe I'll just have to wait until my honeymoon
to see it, eh? :D
I know Steven must have a few original copies lying around...
But wait, what am I saying...
If I had the real deal In my presence think I
would be uuuhm, waaaay waaaay toooo preoccupied to watch videos!
What do you think, girls?
;) :D ;)

As far as I know there is no 'commercial' DVD release and the only video release is in NTSC format;(and as I posted before I saw the whole video
to download on Winmx...some 700+ mbs)
Personally I don't think he got any or much revenue form them anyway....the video footage was owned by Tenshin Dojo.....which no longer exists(except the original one in Japan Seagal taught and eventually owned for awhile) I think Bing Dahn just got a hold of the footage and compiled it..perhaps with Seagal's blessing because Bing Dahn is/was an assistant to Seagal at times...you'll see his name listed in movie credits ocasionally...it was Bing Dahn idea to do the Seagal web-site .
same with Greg Dunne who is also in the video.
If you feel strongly about 'stealing' from Seagal...then you better delete any music or images you have(unless you purchased it of course); that would fall into the same catagory......lol

Hmmmm, you have a good point there, J...
I have a few printed images that I have framed,
and a copy of 'girl it's alright' that I listen to all the time!
It just makes me kinda nervous, because of all the crackdowns
they are doing about file sharing, and music downloads now, and
after all, copying videos is a federal offense, yikes!
I wouldn't want you all to get into any trouble is all, and I wouldn't
want Steven to feel abused in any way, either...
Although I know he seems like really a cool laid back type of guy,
I doubt he would mind at all...
I am sure he would do just about anything for us fans...
He's probably extremely giving, at least that is my feeling about him,
he does all that charity work after all...
BTW, your signature is totally fabulous!
Must be a capture from the movie, huh?
Wow, whaaat a magnificent man!

Actually I was just kiddin' with you...I wouldn't expect anybody to delete anything...anyway SS himself wouldn't be bothered to come after anybody...if anything it would be the company that actually owned the rights to whatever...%99 of web-site wouldn't be running if using images, etc was a real problem.....the few that I'm aware of that got told to shut down got a e-mail warning...
I wouldn't worry about it....
Oh the sig pic is Seagal using his PC in The Patriot.......being some of the stuff I was posting lately had to do with PC's......there's a few movies with Seagal at a PC...ODG,TP,FDB......tho' I myself have never seen one like this ...it's a desktop hardrive with a foldout screen...or else it's the largest laptop I ever saw........lol
John
PS: Look at the minimal copying as 'promoting Seagal'...lord knows his people sure aren't doing it...if anything; you're helping him instead of hurting him.
