My friend,Lynda,asked Jon about The Package & this is what he said:

The story of the Package is that Seagal would play a former army general who is now retired and starts exchanging letters with a orphan boy in Bosnia but after a while the letters stop coming and Seagal heads of to Bosnia to find out why.This was going to be made this year with Barbet Scroeder Directing but it may never be made as Seagal has Under Siege 3,Yakzua and Ghenghis Khan to do first.

also why is he not doing this film now because it sounds good and that guy who is director did murder by numbers with sandra bullock which was a good film in my view.

I agree that this movie would be cool.He still may do The Package when he has done the above movies.

You can be sure that you will hear about the US3 premise first from John.I would love to know where he gets his info from .The only thing that I don't get is why no other film sites have this news.

I was also wondering why no other sites have any info on the US3 rumours and especially if it is being made by Warner Bros and will be his next movie after Yakuza(since that is about to get started soon).
I have to say Leon, that i am not convinced that he will be making US3 until i hear it from Seagal's own mouth or Warner Bros offical site. It has already been stated that he will be starting to film Ghenghis Khan in january next year or very early in 2004 so how can he make US3 before that.
