When I saw Exit wounds i thought great hes made another cool movie but all movies are only as good as the cast Steven on his own with a mediocre cast. Leads to a mediocre film. Unfortunatley the mighty $ rules the movie buisness without the $ the co stars of a calibre to make the movie stay away.

a sad loss i read his bio a while back the guy had a hard up bringing. he made some great movies my favs were the first death wish, great escape and my personnel fave was Red Sun.

I think not take a look at Jackie Chan the guys always making movies although the movie budgets have certainly risen since breaking america but in the early days he was always doin great quality hong kong movies. Ok maybe the guy is super human but i tend to agree HK directors certainly know...

yeah i have quite a few van damme vids in my collection and i was real surprised by Replicant his acting is sure improved since bloodsport.
