    Does anyone know Duran Shihan?

Hello Beyond, I am not familiar with a Lama Loden, but I DO know of a Lama Lodo up in SF. Where in the Bay Area is this Lama you speak of? I am just a mediocre practioner of the Dharma......always a student! I am 39......sometimes I DO feel older. Peace!

    entering the dalai lama

Pandora, You are most blessed to have been a student of Lama Yeshe (he was a little before my time)......BUT, I did have the pleasure of teaching his reincarnation, Lama Osel, computers when I lived in India. I have no doubt that you were in good hands with Lama Yeshe.

    Does anyone know Duran Shihan?

Yes, Frank Doran is a wonderful Aikido Sensei. His dojo is in Redwood City (halfway between San Jose and SF.) He is also the main Sensei at the Stanford University Aikido Club. I had the pleasure to train under him when I was attending Stanford from 99-04. But, still, my main teacher is...

    entering the dalai lama

    God

In Buddhism there is no "god" or such supreme being. Our karma (our actions through thoughts, speech and deed) determine how we view and live this life and on into the next. I have been a Buddhist for only 22 years of my 39 years on this planet.......but always still learning! Peace!

    Tom-Yum-Goong

Tam Yum Goong is a VERY popular Thai soup. Goong=shrimp in Thai language. It is a very tastey, spicy soup with lemmongrass, galagal, shrimp, Thai chili (called "prik" in Thai.) The movie with Tony Jaa is already out on DVD or VCD and super easy to get in Bangkok. Peace!

    Ghengis Khan

Yes, indeed, the project has been canceled a LONG time ago. Besides, Ghengis Khan was only 5'3". How could Steven (Who is actualy 6'5".......NOT 6'4") pull that off? Blessings!

Suzi has a good heart and is a good person. I guess she just had a weak moment. I am sure she has gotten over that. Peace!
