I rented and watched this today. I gave it a 6.5 out of 10. The fights scenes were much better than "Belly of the Beast". There was no "wire-fu". The fights were much more realistic. The acting was decent by the supporting cast. I'm pretty sure the bad guy was in a previous Seagal...

He wouldn't have to play himself. He could have a different name, and make other changes to protect his privacy. The core story of opening a dojo in Japan and fighting gangsters is what's important.

I always thought a semi-autobiographical movie about Steven's time in Japan would be great. It could tell the story about how Steven was the first white man to open a dojo there, and how he got harrassed by Yakuza (?). It would be an ideal setting to display Steven's aikido, and there could...

"Steven with a goatee?...lol...nah" If I'm not mistaken, he had a goatee (or was it a beard?) for a little bit in "Marked for Death". He wakes up from a coma and has it. "Being Buddhist minded he will most likely be as he is" Buddhists shave their heads. :D

Hollywood actors are always changing their appearance, but Seagal has remained the pretty much same throughout his career. I would like to see him get a trainer to help him drop some weight and get into better shape. I want to see the lean and mean guy from "Above the Law" again. He should...
