I promise I won't tell PETA about this bull!!!LOL!
It's a true story!in the old days and especially in Japanese Karate
the Masters used to harden their bodies!
For instance Master Nakayama who was also among the Greatest
used to put his hands one at a time on an anvil every morning and hit them with
a sledge hammer!
Master Nakayama was Shotokan's greatest Master!after Master Funakoshi!
Peace!

Master Tak Kubota was famous for the same thing as well. ;)

Kanazawa is also one of the best Karate Masters, as well as Gogen Yamaguchi who killed the Tiger when he was captured during WW2. In addition Shigeru Egami is a legendary Karate Master and Fumio Demura. ;)

And on top of all his martial arts accomplishments, Littledragon is one of the most well-rounded, respectful, polite, kind-hearted, likeable young men I've ever known. :) I've even told my teenage nephews about him. :D We're very lucky to have him here with us. :) He's helped keep us all young at heart. :D

One boy got in one hole in the mauntain Atos,at the St.Mont,Greek.He found old man there. He said he knew martial arts, and crushed a peace of rock with his leg.Was it nesessery ,asked old man,if I said hill to move, stood here,I did not told you.Could I eat with you asked boy.
I dont know is it good translation.Meaning is one does well, with hard work, stay out of the street, with passion and things that it is all in his life.At the and of life he will find one big mistake. Take Life of Miamoto Mushasi and try to understend me.

Oh believe me at 17 years old I know as much as an adult when it comes to just the knowledge of the Martial Arts, since I am still too young to talk from experience with it.

But I understand what you mean, and especially from the greatest Samurai to have ever stepped foot on this planet, Miamoto Mushasi, I also read his book, The Book Of Five Rings. ;)
