Anybody watched THE HULK yet?....

I've just finished watching it, and let me tell you.....it was the biggest pile of sh*t, i have ever watched!

And unlike movies, that don't attract me (therefore i have a built-in hate complex, and usually hate them before, and after viewing) I actually was looking forward to this.

For all it's overblown special fx, it wasn't a patch on the TV series, and what that had to say, about the manifestation of guilt and rage, in all of us.

Any child (who let's face it, this movie IS supposed, to be made for) will have fell asleep, long before the halfway mark (and this tedious movie lasts about 140 minutes)
ANG LEE (who's 'CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON...didn't do anything for me either, but i quite enjoyed THE ICE STORM) directs at a snails pace, and believe me, i watch a lot of european 'art-house', and quite enjoy 'snails-pace'

It's main problem is, it spends way too long setting up events, that are not worth the wait. 1978's SUPERMAN did pretty much the same thing, but inbetween the longuers, it infused itself, which rich, warm characters, quirky subplots, and so-on.

SPIDERMAN wipes the floor with it (and even that film was no masterpiece, either!)

And i'll bet my life, that when ang lee DOES get criticised for this travesty, it'll be claimed that THE HULK is a art movie for grown-ups........ FINE, stop selling this junk to kids.........because i don't see MCDONALDS doing SEVENTH SEAL milkshakes.....or clotheshops selling THREE COLOURS RED pyjamas!!!

The bottom line is this;
THE HULK will only succeed in doing one thing....bringing children and adults together in thinking the same thing about it:

A) it's too boring for kids

B) it's not clever/interesting enough for adults..oh yeah, and it's boring for adults, as well

And i had such high expectations for this movie

Bummer...I loved the TV show...And I still have a vintage Hulk coffee mug around here, someplace....

The Hulk can come and kiss my white ass!Another super-hero movie bites the dust:mad: Why the hell can't Hollywood make a decent super-hero flick?!They should get Kevin Smith to write the screen plays for these movies.I guess it's time to re-watch the original Hulk series and think what could've been.

True, they need to make it as much like the original series as they can, but they never do, and I wonder why? I am still waiting for a film about wonder woman, I loved that show when I was younger, but who could do her justice?

I haven't been thrilled by the trailers for The Hulk - makes me think it's closer to a remake of King Kong, than anything else!

No, i quite liked the tv series, I wish Space would pick it up and rerun it. Bill Bixby brought a real vulnerability to the character of Dr. Bannon, and Lou Ferrigno rocked as the Hulk.

My entertainment dollars are limited. I'm saving my money for something else (but not the Matrix Reloaded, thanks but not thanks).

I could barely watch the first one, I'm certainly not wasting any money going to see the second or the soon to be released third one, for sure. Matrix, phooey.

X2 is on my list, so is Finding Nemo. Maybe this weekend, if I can scrape up a little cash.... anything to get out of the house.

I would'nt go to see this Hulk movie if I was paid to and given a steak and lobster dinner afterwards. It looked like a pile of **** to me as well.
I'll be going to see T3 and I want to see The Italian Job(anyone seen this and have an opinion). ?
